I got all excited when I got a shipment notification from Apple but then I realized it was for an extra charger.
To all of the Americans who are freaking out: breathe.
The only people who have gotten shipping details from UPS are those who are in the Tennessee distribution center's catchment area. There are several other centers that will ship watches for Friday delivery who have yet to order shipping labels.
Relax.

I've had no update on my watch, despite the 4/24/-5/8 timeframe. No charge, etc. I could still cancel it too.
I suspect I won't see movement this week. A shame. A big part of this is getting the watch on day one. I'm pretty sure the watch isn't something we "need." I realize a phone isn't something we "need," either, but I'm much more dependent on it than a watch.
This difficult availability might rub some the wrong way, or might just save some, a nice chunk of change.

Me personally, I'm not freakin out. Mostly a little annoyed about being kept in the dark about when my order will move forward. I will freak out though when May 8 rolls around and if I see, and continue to be tormented by, Processing Items.
I'm pretty sure that Ontario Ca ups hub also has started getting things shipped out because my extra charger is coming from Ontario and I believe my watches are there too and they will prob either ship today or early tomorrow for Friday delivery, so anyone in so cal, nor cal or central cal should be getting there shipping labels/tracking my numbers today if there gonna get there watch on Friday.

I suspect its still entirely possible for you to get your watch friday, even if you dont see any movement till tomorrow night.
Nah, I've noticed statuses update once the planes arrive in Alaska from China/Hong Kong/Taiwan. I don't think anybody has anything to worry about as the final 100,000 planes arrive today and tomorrow along with a googolplex of Apple Watches on them!
But you haven't gotten a tracking number for your Watch, which is what my original post is about.
That's the only thing keeping me sane at this point. Have I mentioned, nice watch choice?
Don't give up on a Friday delivery just yet! I have read almost every post about east coast shipments, and very few (if any) have received "preparing for shipment" / UPS tracking info yet. We are within the Next Day Air shipping range, so we might not receive updates until tomorrow!

Ohio here, too. We're close to Louisville (UPS) and Pennsylvania (FedEx), so there is still hope for us. Even if our watches came in on a plane Thursday, they could still get on trucks and make it by Friday. Although I did look at my last preorder (iPad 2012) and I received tracking info the Wednesday before launch day.
I am in PA as well and nothing... Maybe the are shipping from Newark or the Apple distribution warehouse near harrisburg??
My iPad came from a FedEx distribution center in Middletown, PA. I would assume watches would dispatch from there as well.
