I'm in NW Arkansas and ordered the 38mm Sport with white band at 2:02 am CDT. I just checked UPS Delivery Planner and it says that I should expect delivery on Friday between 11:30 and 3:00. I have not received an email from Apple yet with shipping info and my order in the app has not updated to "shipped." Yay, I'm getting my Watch on Friday!

Congrats! I am still stuck in processing, but still hopeful. I remember my last preorder (an iPad), I didn't get notified until the very last minute and still got it on launch day.

Not necessarily, mine and my wife's orders are identical but her order (our 2nd order) is preparing for shipment while mine is still on the dreaded "processing"

Hopefully! I saw a lot of large fedex and ups planes coming from alaska arriving in ky and ontario last night.
Goes to prove that there is method to the madness, but only to an extent.
Goes to support that Apple sees orders in batches (I.e. 4/24 - 5/8 wave) and hopefully means you'll get them at the same time.

I think at this point, if I don't see a charge or status change by the end of the day, it's pretty much going to be an obvious sign that I won't be receiving it on the 24th. At least we're still guaranteed to be in the first batch of shipments, so not all hope is lost. :/

I'm sure there's still some time, but I had my account charged on Monday and it's been shipped to my local UPS facility on 4/23/2015. I feel like there has been some activity on this particular watch.
