Hopefully we :03 or higher in the 4/24 - 5/8 crew get some update around 4PM or 5PM EST.

PA/NJ/MD/DE crew here.

I'm NY and hoping for the same thing.. so far, it seems like every has been happening around 4:00 - 5:00pm EST. Keep up the trend for us tonight please!

For the initial launch they should have only sold watches with Sports Bands and let the people who wanted something different order it separately. Maybe ship all SS editions with the classic buckle to differentiate it.

That would have massively reduced the number of SKUs, simplified the logistics of getting them out to customers, and removed a lot of variability caused by band popularity and lead time.

sure, bc you know how the logistics work inside apple.

My 42mm space grey Sport order status has changed to Preparing for Shipment about 3 hours ago. I'm from Germany and now very confident for a Friday delivery.

I was :02 and haven't gotten anything on my 42 SS with BSB. My wife's 38 sport with WSB is preparing to ship.

Is anyone else getting tired of the “strip-tease” called Apple Watch:

September 9, 2014 “Introduction” – stay tuned (for SIX months)

March 9, 2015 “Re-introduction” – but wait a month for pre-orders

April 10, 2015 “Pre-Orders” – which sell out in six hours

April 24, 2015 “Delivery” – well, not quite – if ordered in first 6 minutes or so “maybe 4/24-5/8″

August 2015 for some (black stainless steel) models

So almost ONE YEAR from first fan hitting the floor to final result…that is insulting…

For Apple, it's clear that this has been a relatively demanding project. They announced last year with little detail about when it would go on sale, and redefined "early 2015" to mean Q2. They hand out freebies to celebrities to promote the item, travel to far flung parts of the world to push its fashion cred but have relatively little on-hand stock at launch. I've no doubt that the website not going up at midnight PDT was deliberate done to slow sellout. For any company that makes products as popular as Apple a launch will be challenging, but to me it looks a bit like amateur hour. I don't think they'll be looking to repeat this rollout.

Anyone else have their watch show up in their support profile? I'm a little concerned about the fact my 42 SS CB shows up as "Watch Standard". This pic is of what looks to be SS LB.

I'm with you, but in VA here! My 6+ shipped out the day before release and still arrived on launch day so there's still hope for us all the way until tomorrow evening!

Yup. We have till tomorrow also. Apple still can do Next Day shipping and it would arrive at our doorsteps sometime Friday from a local distribution center.

:/

We can only hope.

I ordered my Silver Sport with White band at 3:02 on the 10th and it is still preparing to ship. I got all excited because I ordered an additional charging puck on the 16th and it just changed to ship. I thought it was the watch. The puck was not supposed to come until the 26th or after.

It was FedEx by the way.

Keeping my fingers crossed for the watch!

It seems as if few people in the Western part of United States have had their orders change, especially for stainless steel, and especially for the Milanese loop and black sports band (I'm in Montana, but also California, Colorado, etc.). Maybe this means that a large shipment will be sent to a western distribution facility and then we will have our orders change later today.
