All of us at this thread are in the same boat as you, except I'm assuming most of us got that email of doom late last night. I ordered at 3:01 (and 49 seconds if you want to nitpick) EST for my 38mm SG sport and I'm in south Florida (West Palm Beach). I'm very curious to see what happens...
It will be until afternoonish or later. I wouldn't worry about it. UPS will guarantee delivery by the specified date. Take a breather from this forum yours IS coming!!
Yes it can. It is a risk you have to decide to take. Doing it earlier helps to get it to the location faster however.
No, I always use this option so I can get my items first thing Friday morning (my UPS guy doesn't come until around 4pm).
Just requested the hold now it says "Scheduled delivery information is not available at this time." When I went through the process though it said the package will be available 4/24. Weird.
I checked that out through the ups my choice app...
When I selected pickup at the hub it said the hours were 800 to 830 PM! They obviously know what we are trying to do and despite the doors opening at 800 am so they will only release it end of day...my package is set for delivery between 10 and 2 pm

No chance and I'm calling your bluff. Hopefully you have an Amazon Prime order in for Kleenex because it's looking bleak at this point.
Nah not yet my card has be charged and is pending and status is preparing for shipment
I always call UPS and ensure that I can pick it up at the center the same day it would have been delivered. The package also has to be shipped and in the US. I once tried to do this while my iPhone was in the air from China to Alaska, and I had to call back again once it was scanned in stateside.

People, lets not lose hope if your order has not been charged or shipped. There are people in the Australian pre-order thread that were being charged and getting shipping notifications after 7pm their time. So we still have plenty of time to be notified. Fingers crossed.
Mine says the same thing. I received the email from apple saying that it shipped 4/22. I changed my UPS delivery to be picked up at my local customer center/hub, so that I can pick it up in the morning. Now it says that "Scheduled delivery information is not available at this time." Maybe it means that its already at the facility but they cant say it.

And I don't get what's made this "weeks of BS"? We placed an order that was confirmed to be delivered between 4/24 and 5/8. We weren't promised delivery on 4/24, and we're not even there yet. This week has been filled with anxiety and excitement over whether one's particular watch is going to arrive on Friday, but I don't understand why some people are calling BS?

Someone a page or so back said they talked to Apple and they are not allowing pre-signing for the Watch.

Central VA (Richmond) here. Ordered 42mm w/black classic buckle 3:23am. Still processing, but did receive the "EOD" from Apple last night 11pm. No CC charge.
I'm hoping it's because we can walk to the nearest UPS or FEDEX hub ... just a theory
Woke up to great news. 42mm SS w/ Milanese "Harrisburg, PA, United States / 04/23/2015 / 1:50 A.M. Central / Package is in transit to a UPS facility". Due to hit me in Chicago tomorrow afternoon.

We aren't getting the watch bud. I contacted support earlier for another issue and brought up this email and the rep had an extremely strong feeling it represented a post-launch day delivery.
I ordered a 38mm SG Sport at :04. No CC charge or status change.
