I haven't gotten one of those (yet??)
3:04 am EST confirmation in NYC for a 42mm SG BSB
still processing and I got the pity email last night.
this blows.
I absolutely am a fan. And yea, I guess Im just venting, its been building up since the first wave of Preparing for shipment posts in this thread since Monday, I just kept saying Tomorrows my day! just suck, I guess it just finally hit me this morning that Im probably not going to get it Friday.Judging by your signature it looks like you're quite the apple fan and I doubt you'll cancel your order. It'll eat you away seeing others with it on, but hell at least yours is on the way. Your alternative is to wait until like June. Be patient man you must have pre-ordered a limited quantity combo I suppose. Stuff happens just be happy you're not pushed back until June like some of our brethren. *Pats on Johnny-Don back*
A postponed launch would have been more fair all of us obvious super-fans of Apple. A 2 week postponement obviously would have helped out a lot. But yes, better sometime within the next 2 weeks, then sometime after June. The sad thing is you are right. Steve Jobs never would have let this happen. Instead... He would have POSTPONED this launch since he would have anticipated the supple demand.. And NOONE would have gotten their watch. You still have the chance to get it in the next week. Before people who can't get it u too June . Or July.
Steve Jobs could have made it to where.. NOPE, SoRRY, there just isn't enough.. So let's postpone it until everyone can have one.. Say September.
That's what would've happened.
I know it sucks that some of us won't get it tomorrow the 24th. But I would much rather havei mne in the next two weeks instead of wait five more months.. I'm still glad I got up in the middle of the night to order. It's not like we waited in a line at a store to be told.. Oh, no, you can't have yours for two more weeks.
I overnighted some Kleenex just yesterday with my Prime to make sure UPS was working ok, thanks. No chance and I'm calling your bluff. Hopefully you have an Amazon Prime order in for Kleenex because it's looking bleak at this point.

Anyone feel like decoding my situation? I had to stop reading the email of doom drama last night so not sure if a new pattern emerged.
42mm SG/black sport, :03:32, Processing, no charge, NO email of doom. I am definitely receiving emails from Apple properly because I got a shipping email overnight that my 38mm/white has shipped. East coast, kind of close to a few potential hubs.
I see several people who got the alleged "email of doom" now had their status change this morning*. Could NOT receiving the email of doom actually equal doom?
(*Edit: I could SWEAR I saw this this morning (received EOD but status changed) in either the Space Gray thread or the email of doom thread, but I cannot find these posts again for source.)
I've given up hope. Card still hasn't been charged and still no change from processing. I was in the 4/24-5/8 range for the SS 42mm black classic buckle. Apple totally botched this launch.
We aren't getting the watch bud. I contacted support earlier for another issue and brought up this email and the rep had an extremely strong feeling it represented a post-launch day delivery.
I ordered a 38mm SG Sport at :04. No CC charge or status change.
Right up the road from you in Ruther Glen. 42mm SG Sport at :02. No CC or status change from processing, and received the email of death last night on this order. My two other white sport watches are shipped and scheduled for delivery tomorrow, but the SG was actually the one for me.![]()

I can almost guarantee some people will not receive shipping updates until later on tonight or possibly early morning. Like someone just said the closer you are to a hub and the less distance it has to travel will be the last to be updated.
Currently in Orlando....

Apple giving the 4/24 - 5/8 date range falls under logistics; is what it is. I'm curious if any Space Grays are being delivered tomorrow? If not, putting 4/24 as the beginning range reeks of questionable Truth in Advertising.
