Delivery Dates 4/24-5/8

At the end of the day, it's just a watch. That said (as somebody who received the EOD and is still processing), it'd be nice for Apple to explain why certain models or groups of folks may be delayed in receiving theirs, when 2nd or even 3rd wave folks are getting theirs. I'm sure Apple isn't doing this for kicks. My perception is that SS models are in more limited supply, which doesn't surprise me.

Apple obviously doesn't have to. But the people populating this board are the type of passionate consumers Apple should be cultivating (and the folks willing to stay/get up in the middle of the night to pre-order). For that reason, this entire episode is more than "just a watch."

Be nice if mine made it Friday, but I'm pretty doubtful at this point....

I have not given up hope that my watch orders will ship today, but I wanted to get an idea of who was still waiting with me.

If you were given a an expected delivery date of 4/24-5/8 and your order is still listed as "processing" then post the following details: Your model(s), time of order confirmation email and whether or not you received an email from Apple confirming your window.

If your order changed from processing on Thursday 4/23, then your same details would also be welcomed.

One important factor that must be considered is that our "times of order confirmation" may be different to apple servers. Spoke to apple rep and asked him what time was showing on his system for my order confirmation and he said 4:00. I have an order confirmation email for the 42mm Space Gray Black with Black Sport Band of April 10, 2015 3:04 EST.

Anyone feel like decoding my situation? I had to stop reading the email of doom drama last night so not sure if a new pattern emerged.

42mm SG/black sport, :03:32, Processing, no charge, NO email of doom. I am definitely receiving emails from Apple properly because I got a shipping email overnight that my 38mm/white has shipped. East coast, kind of close to a few potential hubs.

I see several people who got the alleged "email of doom" now had their status change this morning*. Could NOT receiving the email of doom actually equal doom?

(*Edit: I could SWEAR I saw this this morning (received EOD but status changed) in either the Space Gray thread or the email of doom thread, but I cannot find these posts again for source.)

I have two theories:

1. If I remember correctly you ordered another watch that IS shipping, if so and they were in the same order, they did not think you needed the email since one in your order will be arriving. If they were in separate orders then that leads to theory two.

2. You haven't gotten the email because they are planning to still send out the watch by tomorrow.

Either way I still think the email is the kiss of death so to speak.

also im in Monterey CA and both my watches are coming from PA, which is kinda weird i would think that they would have come from our closer hub in Ontario California
