I've noticed 2 things in following this thread for the last week:

1) there's a strong correlation between a love of Apple and a propensity for anxiety

2) our schools are abysmal at teaching grammar and spelling

This!

And 3) if you have not received a watch by 7pm Friday, you will not be getting it for launch day :(

I'm in Philadelphia, and my Watch is shipping from Apple's Harrisburg distribution center. No estimated arrival yet, but it's being shipped next day air, and Harrisburg/Philadelphia are within 1 day ground of each other...so, tomorrow, the 24th.

Ordered 42mm Aluminum Sport with WSB. Got an order conformation at 12:06 PST. Got my shipment notification this morning at 4:13 CST. UPS does not have an estimated delivery date, but Apple said to expect it on the 27th. Anybody else get this from Apple? Should I believe it or hope I will get it Friday?

Delivery Dates 4/24-5/8

Quick question if you guys are picking yours up from the UPS hub. Am I right by assuming that the worst case scenario would be that it actually makes it on the truck?

If yours is being shipped Next Day Air (which you can see from the UPS tracking site) then there's a good shot at you getting it tomorrow. Essentially, any package shipped in the Lower 48 by the cutoff time will make it anywhere else in the Lower 48 by the next day.

Now, I have 2 UPS tracking numbers for the two watches. Both deliver on Friday.
They showed up in MyChoice last night around midnight PST.

Everyone needs to realize that each of the launch countries had a portion of the Apple Watch Productions allocated specifically to them. They have to, so they can get packaging and watch launch language correct.

Watches will ship out in the order people placed preorders IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY. Just cause someone in Frankalooska, Canada ordered at :15 and it getting it launch day doesn't mean Apple skipped you.

And also, the system was processing 6629497373 orders at once. Give it a bit of slack if it didn't get your 2:02AM CDT order before someone at :03. Apple is doing their best to ship out in the order orders were placed but it is nearly impossible to be 100% accurate with this.
Orders originally allocated for May/June were because Apple set the system up to push dates back at a conservative estimate. Because I'm sure less people ordered the 38mm AWS with PSB then the 42mm SS with BSB or CLB, people farther back in the line are getting their watches. The only difference is, THAT LINE WAS SHORTER. They didn't allocate the same number of watches for each SKU, but based on expected ordering.
They didn't expect the demand for the Black AWS and SS, or for the popularity of the SS+BSB.

Apple says its shipping standard, but I made a UPS My Choice account and it says expected delivery is Friday. Thanks for your help!

Woke up this morning to an end mail saying my watch will be delivered tomorrow via UPS. I have star king number but it hasn't officially began its journey to my house. So excited!!!

Not really sure what you're asking but my shipment is on a truck right now headed to my local UPS hub where I'll be picking it up tomorrow morning.

Two orders - both SG Sports (42/38) stamped at xx:03:42 and xx:04:44

No CC draft, still in process, But only the 38 got the email. Nothing at all for the 42.

Still hope?

SOMEONE TELL ME PLS. DID ANYONE IN CALIFORNIA GET THEIR STATUS CHANGED TO SHIPPED? I had preparing for shipment from Monday and then just had access to the ups tracking this morning.

I also have a Processing 42mm SG with zero emails of doom received. I have no idea what it means. Could go either way.

Very surprised to get a shipping notification from Apple today. I ordered a watch for my wife last Sunday, April 19 after in-store tryon. Was given a 4-6 week delivery date.

Imagine my surprise when I had an email this morning stating a UPS delivery via next day air tomorrow. 38mm SS Classic.

Not unhappy, but wasn't prepared for this this week. My just flip this thing for a few bucks; my 42mm Space Black SS Link isn't supposed to ship till July

a very good point... A lot of people could do well to absorb that information, as it seems to be raising a lot of people's blood pressure

Update!

Ok, I had ordered 38 and 42mm SGS and got confirms at 12:04 and 12:03 respectively.

Yesterday, the 42mm SGS went from 'processing' to 'preparing for shipment' and just now went to 'Shipped'

The 38mm is still in 'processing' and got the EoD last night.

Philly Area region. Holding out hope for both.
