anyone else hearing their phone ding, and your first thought is "could this be the apple email?" lol or just me?:D:cool::cool::cool:

I've had push notifications off for months, but I have just turned them back on to check every 15 minutes, and put my phone on loud just in case. Haha.

I have a feeling it'll be tomorrow or Tuesday though, as much as I hate to admit it. I'm far too impatient and excited. #⌚️

I've ordered both the Stainless Steel Apple Watch with White Sports Band. Showing first wave for that one. Also another charger. Just installed deliveries. Looks great, automaticly picked up the order.

Never judge...there are a lot of people that are rolling in cash but sacrifice a lot of fun in their lives for that. Each to their own.

I've been in that place - living on ramen on half the poverty level. I've sacrificed other things in order to get a decent laptop so that I could get a job.

I just can't imagine sacrificing in order to get a watch, is all. :)

I am so sorry this happened. I do not think this is right! I just called and was able to add two gift cards to my order because the apple store app did not allow me to do it. Try calling back and tell them since it is still processing that you would like to make a change to the order. They should be able to accommodate it (or) go get a gift card and put enough on it to cover the cost and ask them to add it to the order. Those are my two pieces of advice.

I have a number of times to try and change and they said because of the authorisation of £0.00 at the time of ordering means they can't amend the order.
I called again earlier today and an agent took my new card details and then I got a confirmation email advising that a change had been made. I check my account an hour later and still shows as the old card. I called back again and the agent had put a note on the account saying this couldn't be done. He never thought off calling me to advise.
So now I am just constantly checking my account waiting for the original card to decline.
Just so frustrating and annoying that situations like this and they can't make any exceptions.

Well said. The utility of a laptop can be necessary to get ahead. I've been in that position too. Sometimes you just have to do something nice for yourself though. I don't think he owes an explanation to the people jumping on his back about buying a watch.

Edit: also keep in mind these products come from a company co founded by a hippie college dropout who lived off of fruit for a while. Questionable decisions? You do you.

AppleCare Charge

So the $69.00 AppleCare charge that was in my pending transactions for five days after the 4/10 order date before disappearing last Wednesday is now in my pending transactions again. No clue if this means anything or not.

Ordered a SS with black sports band via Apple Store iOS App. Confirmation email received 04/10/2015 03:03AM EDT.

Totally normal. That means it's only getting closer.

So, I did what a couple people were saying and put my order number into AfterShip com and it shows a company and phone number. I googled the number and it's for a parcel company in Folcroft, PA. If I read correct, this is a location close to one of Apple's distribution centers.

So, this leads me to believe that some, if not all, of the "first wave" apple watches are in the states (for US).

Please know that I am new to this "tracking" thing and understand that I may be incorrect. I am only trying to assist in this "investigation." :D

As we all are aware, details are sure to come in the coming week, but every clue and piece of info helps! hahaha

I provided my apple order status page for people to confirm that it is indeed my order. Feel free to double check the order number on apple's website and it will come up with "Cody M" as the name. songwriter51892 is also part of my email.

Wow, thats certainly interesting! I'd be very careful however, maybe you should emend those images and get rid of the first part of your email and the order number too as with these people could potentially cancel your order?

Not sure you're on the right path there. If I do the same with my order number it comes up with the same screen as yours.

As I'm in the UK, I wouldn't be a happy bunny if my watch was in the U.S. ;)

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case - you can type any fake order number into the Aftership site and, as long as it starts with "W", it'll say that's a pending delivery from the carrier "Asendia USA."

Hate to be the buzzkill, but I tried it with my order numbers and while this does work, some say it might work too well. I.E. I typed in a canceled order number and the same screen appeared and yes I canceled on April 10. It also works for orders that are slated to deliver in June...

every time email goes off i check it

its like crack :(:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:every damn ding ping that happens on my phone or iPad i and quickly running to it to check hahahaha:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple:

I actually did a test of looking up the order by just order number and email on apple's website (no login) and it only shows basic info about the order. If I then tried to "show order details" or "cancel order," it referred me to the login page.

So, I should be ok. But, I might cover those just to be extra cautious. Just didn't want anyone to accuse me of faking the information. Not my intentions.

Thank you for your concern. :)

Sorry everyone. I was hoping I was on to something. Rookie mistake.

No worries, same thing happened yesterday, and last iPhone launch. Pretty much every launch. :)

100% completely false. My iPhone 6 came from China as per my FedEx tracking information.

True. I ordered 2 iPhone 6+ , one came from China and the other from one of the warehouses within the States. Got both on launch day though.

----------

I had the app and checked - and it detected my Apple Watch order all by itself!
Show now still processing - probably means not much but it's something.

Is that the app that costs 4.99 in the app store? Is it worth it? I know it's not like it's a lot, but if I'm only going to use it once in a while. Isn't parcel the same and it's free? I really have no idea. Never used one of these.

Yours may have, but if you were on this forum for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus launch, you would know that most people on here had their phones ship from somewhere within the US.

Deliveries is a GREAT app. One of my favorites. I think I got it early for $.99 but I would pay the current price if I knew how great it was.

Its definitely worth it imo, works very well! The Parcel app doesn't support Apple orders, only supports courier services so you could track it once you receive shipping info, but not now like you can on the Deliveries app :)

And to think, if you had your shiny new watch, you could rotate your wrist to activate the screen and see that notification. :D

And I'm guilty of doing the same damn thing.

I have the app, but I'm not sure I would have if I had to pay 4.99 for it. I have a package reliving tomorrow from Apple (not a watch) and it says that the package is in transit and the delivery date is unknown. I need to jump over to apple to track or log into my ups account to see the details. It does tell me my other (non watch) items will be here in 17 days, but that's about it. So while it's a nice tool, I wouldn't say it's worth the 5.00. There are other ways to get the same info for less (or free).

It's a really nice app. I like it a lot. It gives you notifications earlier than any other one. The best part is it can detect shipments to you automatically - so that's quite slick. Depends how much stuff you ship and how important it is for you to stay on top of your shipments. But it's well worth the $5 IMO

Yes! It's called 'Deliveries' ... the benefit is it will show you the location on the map, and it gives you a link to the webpage being tracked. Unfortunately it is 4.99 though :(

:apple:Watch Sport - Space Grey (4/24-5/8) :D

Gah, just got a "shipping notification" email from Apple show up in the corner on my screen - it was the MagSafe to MagSafe 2 connector that I forgot I ordered :)

I'm in the 5/13-27 group anyway, still, I was reading this forum when I got it.

I think we may need a 12 step program.
