Doesn't the Apple Store app offer push notifications when the order status changes? Why keep checking back when it will notify you automatically?

You didn't know that Apples ships products first to those that check order status the most often?

UPS in Louisville is one of the few places that always holds Apple products stateside. Everyone knows that on here and then they get sent out to the carrier or supply hubs from Louisville. If they never made it to Louisville, they can't be stateside.

I hope that all of you in the 4/24-5/8 window can use the apple "deliveries" by junecloud. Just use your apple conformation number and you could get estimated delivery and a location for your product. This app is so helpful and you get notifications faster than you would from Apple. I used this all for my iPhone 6 plus at launch. Sadly I have to wait a bit more for my apple watch since I'm in the June window.. I recommend that all of you guys that are so impatient buy this app and enjoy your few days of waiting. ENJOY!

Waiting impatiently like everyone else for status change!

Buy the app "deliveries" from junebug it will change your patience. It will give your an estimated delivery time for your products and a location for your products. Just use your apple confirmation number. Good luck

This is my second pre-order experience after the iPhone 6, and I guess I'm doing it again for the thrill of it, the uncertainty, you know, those stupid reasons like being up at obscene hours, begging Apple to make charges to my card, obsessively refreshing the order status pages, all that :) Nice to "meet" you all, enjoy the wait!

First time posting on here but I've been reading through the forum for the past couple of days. This is actually my first pre order direct from Apple, and only my second purchase from Apple direct. I normally go elsewehre, I went to Vodafone from my 6 Plus, and EE for my iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini. The only purchase I've made direct from Apple was my 2015 MacBook Pro, I do have faith in Apple for this one and would say that 70%+ in this bracket will get their watches on Friday so fingers crossed!
 
This thread is entertaining as some people just flat out make stuff up. (I'm not speaking about anyone in particular)

Nice. That's exactly what I ordered. It seems that a good bulk of folks ordered the sport. So hopefully this means our SS w/ Classic Buckle are 4/24 deliveries.

Yes it's awesome because it detects your order!!! And it's amazing because it will auto update and check your order so you can be notificted as soon as there is any type of change on your order. Good luck you in this shipping window?
 
Order Changes

My first time posting to this thread! I ordered a 42mm sport with a blue strap and my confirmation is 3:03 am. I had problems ordering with gift cards through the apple store app on the iPhone, I just called and was able to process two gift cards on the account. So for the man that got his wallet stolen (which i will go try and find to reply to) you can change your form of payment).

CANT WAIT FOR FRIDAY!!! (if it comes that day)

I also ordered an extra Apple Watch charging cable in a separate order with a diffrent number and the same delivery dates. Oddly unlike the watch order, Junecloud did not pick that one up yet. hmmm

Since you have 2 different orders you might need to add a delivery on your own!
 
I had an unfortunate situation on Monday where I was mugged and they took my wallet, including the card I used to pay for my watch. Wasn't until I called the bank when I realised that Apple will charge that card and will decline.

I called Customer Services from the hospital quite stressed and explained the situation and the advisor said that I would have to cancel the order and reorder and go to back of the queue. I could have cried at this point. I asked to speak to someone else for clarification and he said they are only going to tell you the same thing.
Eventually I was transferred to the Service Desk and they said to leave as is and when they come for payment it will decline and I can then phone with new card details and will still keep my place in the queue.

I called the next day and spoke to 2 other people and they confirmed what Service Desk said. PHEW!!
Now I am constantly checking emails and Apple Store App waiting for the decline.

Does anyone know when they will start charging cards?

I am so sorry this happened. I do not think this is right! I just called and was able to add two gift cards to my order because the apple store app did not allow me to do it. Try calling back and tell them since it is still processing that you would like to make a change to the order. They should be able to accommodate it (or) go get a gift card and put enough on it to cover the cost and ask them to add it to the order. Those are my two pieces of advice.
 
The Apple Store app is now telling me I have no orders in the last 18 months. lol Fortunately the online store is still showing my order or I'd be pretty unhappy right now.
