Just cancelled my 42 mm SS with sports band which was in the 4/24 window. Gets someone else who was in the next shipping window to hopefully get it on launch day.

How does this imply that Apple Store will have stock on the 24th? You saw that on Apple's website, not from a banner in a physical store.
Also the message previously released that these will be online only during the beginning of the launch.
Is it even clear if ANYONE is getting one on the 24th? At this point everyone is dated between 24th to 8th.

On another thread he said he preferred the space gray aluminum after he did the try-on session.
Assuming you're going to get your watch on the 24th is wishful thinking and nothing more. I'm in the first delivery range and I'm not assuming it's coming that day. I hope it does but there's no reason to believe that.

Nope, available the 24th is correct. That is when they will be available to those who ordered in time.
FYI, available doesn't necessarily mean in your hands on the 24th, if you wanna get to details...
Available April 24th (technically) could mean so many things...
No one is forcing you to get one if you are not happy with the wording. You could always write a letter to Qpple and tell them their website is misleading you, lol

I've got this date as well. One question though:
Would the order have gone through if my credit card was declined for a past charge? I had one charge a week back that was declined for some reason, but subsequent charges after that went through. I'm going to contact my bank tomorrow when they open but wanted to see what everyone here thinks.
Also of note, I can't check individual credit card charges online through my bank (a real pain in the ass).

Apple will email you if there's a payment problem, and give you an opportunity to fix it.

They email you when they process the payment (start the shipping process). I have no idea how long they give you, couple days I would guess...
this was on the 42MM Sport Blue, my Space Grey 42MM says the 4/24-5/8 like everyone else.
Absolutely. It amazes me how many think theirs will arrive on the 24th. Certainly some will. But I'll be surprised if the vast majority don't come after the 24th.

That is exactly what is meant by 4/24 to 5/8.
I have no problem with it; I have patience. Just seems misleading to me. IMO they should just change the website to indicated that it's available to pre-order now and forget the April 24th date at this point. Oh well I'm splitting hairs here
