Delivery Thread for 27" iMac December Orders

Man I hope thats true. Just to know when might help reduce my OCD on this thing.

Ordered 12/13. By my estimation I would expect to move to Preparing to ship the week of Jan 14th.

I have been checking my CC pretty regularly. Not 20 times a day like I do the Apple site though. ;)

Placed order on the 12/7 - still processing
Last night it showed as cancelled, but after speaking to apple this morning all is ok. Apparently a system error and a new order had been placed with original order dates.
Quoted delivery is jan 8-14.
i7, 3tb fusion, 680mx bring it on :)
 
ANYONE who has ordered on 12/07 or later has the status changed to "preparing for shipping" or "shipped"?
Or do you have a date wrote in the description or like me is only "available for shipping in january"?
 
Just receive my imac. After a crazy fedex delivery... They said delivery on jan 2 before 12pm.

Ship by apple on 28th. Took flight 90 direct to Memphis, then said in transit in memphis in the morning of 29th.

On jan 2th still any update in the tracking... Call fedex and they said they don't know were is the imac... At night i check again the tracking and said crazy things...

He make memphis-calgary-winnipeg-memphis-mississauga in one day... And finally this morning mississauga-montreal...and in my door...

Crazy !!!

Now migration assistant is running and giving me 3 hours to transfert all via ethernet...

Ordered on the 8th, still processing........................

My crystal ball, pre-computer era, suggests just before mid-month. (I presume it meant January).

Placed order on 12/7 and got jan 8-14 quoted as delivery...still processing
 
I ordered on December 1st and still processing. Spoke to Apple on the phone and the rep said it is simply a waiting, they have absolutely no idea and can't speculate on when it will move off of Processing Items. :(
 
WOOOOHOOO!!! It's finally preparing for shipment! Jesus that took a long time.... Ordered 5th December and as of now it's preparing... 29 days I've waited since making my order.

BTO - Maxed out all, except memory.

Yes I was hoping to see Apple get up to maybe the Dec 10 orders this week but either people are sick of checking back to tell us their orders have changed status or Apple is slowing down rather than speeding up.

There are at the moment 47 orders with more than 30 days, but only one with more than 35 days, so lets hope the stuff start moving with a different speed in the next few days.

Mine is from December 2nd, and it's still processing January.

Hallo from Austria !

I ordered my 27" iMac with

3.4GHz i7
768GB SSD
8GB RAM (32GB Corsair Venegance CL10 @ Home since 3 Weeks...)
NVIDIA 680MX 2GB

on 30.11.2012 (Paying on 2.12.2012) and today, 3.1.2013 the Status change
to "Preparing for Shipment" !! (Delivers-Date: 03 Jan, 2013 - 09 Jan, 2013)

Now lets wait for "Shipped".....

Any news on yours yet?

I've had an invoice e-mail telling me how much I've spent on them!! That came through this afternoon.

No news this end on delivery etc.

Oh the invoice did have an address for Apple Distributors in Ireland on it. Doesn't really help but any nugget of information seems to be really exciting at the moment!!
