I am :D

Will be going to the reseller in the morning to get an ETA. That said I'd rather wait a little longer if it meant I don't get one with a faulty screen ;)

From what I understand (in what are totally speculative conversations w/ various 3rd party retailers), you'll be at least 7-14 days behind Apple.com orders, if not more.

Most 3rd party retailers didn't list the 27" available for sale until the second week of Dec. specifically for this reason.

STILL processing...

i5 - 680MX - Fusion 1 TB

Ordered 5th December
Delivery due 03-09/01/2013

If they don't make there delivery the 9th I'm going to complain and ask for a discount or some free software or something

Just ordered mine a few minutes ago. We'll see how long it takes. Estimate on the site and during ordering is January still so I'm hoping it comes in sometime this month(probably the last possible day). Crossing my fingers for no delays.

A had a similare issue with a retailer. Promised date in writing and only when I contacted because it did not arrive was I told they did not have any and didn't know when they would. It seems their terms and condition allow this.

Finally preparing for shipment!

Ordered 12/8
3.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM-2X4GB
1TB Fusion Drive
NVIDIAGeFrc GTX 680MX 2G GDDR5
MAGIC TRACKPAD

Original ship date given was the vague "January". So happy it turns out to be early January. :)

No email or text from Apple. I got an email from my cc company about a large transaction and then saw the Apple site had been updated.

Completely agree - there are probably 500+ people who's job it is to deal with stock management and supply chain globally and locally. Email one of them - this kind of email is a cry for attention.

Of course it's a cry for attention; some attention from the people who run Apple, to look at the iMac situation! ;)

And you'd be surprised what sorts of emails do actually get attention from Tim Cook's executive team. I doubt he personally reads every single email he gets sent by customers, but he does reply sometimes.

----------

Anyway, here's my info:

Ordered on the 6th of December, delivery to London, still 'Processing'.

Apple have always quoted it will be delivered between the 4th and the 11th of January.

On the 2nd of January the iMac was apparently cancelled and re-ordered with no change to any of the delivery details - probably just a computer logistics thing on Apple's end.

Specs: 3.2GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM-2X4GB
1TB Fusion Drive
NVIDIAGeFrc GTX 680MX 2G GDDR5

Just received! I've tried to check out everything and it seems perfect!

Well, this machine is beautiful.

I'm beginning hate the spreadsheet... full of people getting their orders proceeding... :D

Delivered

My order was delivered to the office this morning. I haven't opened anything up, but trust all is well.

UPS made a complete bollocks of the delivery, saying they'd come on the 2nd and then updating that to the 4th but made a delivery attempt on the 3rd!

After phoning UPS and getting nowhere, I called Apple and they redirected the delivery to the office for today.

I wouldn't take much by that.. they moved a heck of a lot of people who ordered day 1 and day 2 to "January". Look how many orders are still processing that ordered within the first few days...
