someone has applied a filter to the fields

the sheet should be locked to prevent alterations

What happened to the spreadsheet? All of the processing orders are gone from the first sheet...:confused:

When you have shared spreadsheets all kind of stuff might happen, but I guess someone was trying to sort a specific part of the data and was temporary, should be ok now. if not let me know

I check everyday your order indeed...:p

Hi 81, check yours, you might have a surprise in the box, I start to become alive again :D

Imac shipping!

Ordered Dec 11, shipped today jan 4, arrives jan 9.

1tb fusion drive ordered, 27" imac i7. 3.4 ghz.

From processing to Prepared 33 days

Got a switch on mine :D although there isn't a January delivery date or even a window with dates.

Judging by the spreadsheet I'm counting now +/- 10 days.

Good luck to you guys

You know it's amazing to me that there still seems to be no rhyme or reason in the way that they are filling these orders. Some go, some sit, many before older ones. I hope the quality control is better than the production line scheduling process.

Apple just called to give me an update. She told me the order will ship on monday, and now the status is preparing for shipment... holy day!

Maybe we can see the light at the end of the tunnel... :D

Went to shipped in hours!

I posted earlier, trying to give some hope. Gloating sux. Ordered 12/8/2012. I'm in PA/USA.
So... I checked first thing this AM, and it was "Preparing for Shipping".
I posted to this thread, added myself to the spread sheet (yes, if someone does a sort on it while you're working, it's a little disconcerting... you find yourself entering info in someone else's row... but you can figure it out).
About an hour later, I got a txt from Apple that my order had shipped, and would be here before 10:30AM Wednesday January 9th.
Hang in there; I really feel for you all; you're Mac will ship.

This has been nerve-wracking and I found out just how OCD/Instant Gratification oriented I really am!!

Good to see some fair movement to the 4-8th December range on the Google spreadsheet at last (where mine lies!). It slowed for a while but picking up nicely.

In answer to the poster earlier who visited when a filter had been applied just wait a few seconds and most users return the spreadsheet to the normal view once they have finished. It is all working quite well now with A-Z sorts available on date and status etc., If not just click on the filter and return the data if the previous user leaves it!

Noticed quite a few are not updating once they receive their iMac (assume this is the case!) but understandable I guess - attention turns to using it once it arrives!

Thanks for the update 81, Looks like Europe (UK, Netherlands, France & Belgium) are with the bubbles (chart live history) moving up :D

Great news for us.

wishing luck to all others off course

Is there a sticky for the spreadsheet? I posted my info there, but not sure where the sheet is now.

The spreadsheet LocicPro set up has been a good tool with lots of interactivity, the period from 28/12/2012 until 31/01/2013 will let some history to tell, the Live History chart shows you how Shipments and deliveries are happening in time by country, you also can interact with the chart to see the data or in bars or in lines, also you can change the x and the y axes.

the bigger the circle the bigger the amount of orders, each color by country and lots of other stuff to play with, very interesting have a play when you want, the info is being updated automatically so until 31 Jan all data introduced in the spreadsheet will be captured.

I still have to do a few twinks on the chart and then should be visible the history of the 27'' December orders which is the name of the thread.

Until there please keep updating, in worst case scenario make a good use of you new machine and type the received date:D

I ordered on Dec 10th and mine changed sometime during the night to preparing to ship. I saw it about 7am this morning. I just checked again and it is still preparing to ship. No update to shipped yet so I am only cautiously optimistic as others have gone back to processing.

I am in the US, Florida.

Finally progress on one ordered after Dec 8th!!!!!!!!!!

There is hope!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

27" iMac order dispatch

Does anyone have any info on receiving a new iMac that isn't standard spec? I placed my order by phone in the UK on 30th November 2012 and ordered additional RAM, the 1TB Flash drive and a numeric keyboard. Still no delivery at Jan 4th. Called Apple today - the woman there said there was no expected date for the delivery of bespoked machines, only that standard fits were appearing in stores today. I'm really frustrated by this and wondering if anyone has achieved more. My tracking page says the usual: dispatched: January

I know, couldn't believe I jumped people who ordered before me.

I tried to add to the sheet, but after entering info and hitting submit, it refreshed and my data wasn't there. You can find it if searching orders by date, but not in the overall sheet. Oh well. One missing isn't a big deal I'm sure, must be some secret to adding.

Have a look here and you will see many other BTO orders out there which you can use for comparison. Add your details too!

Mine is from December the second and switched from processing to preparing a few hours ago. I'm also in UK and mine is as below:

3.4 i7. 16GB Ram, 3TB Fusion Drive, 680MX, mouse, Superdrive

You might get your status changed today.

Thanks Dipwind... fingers crossed. There was a mix-up with my bank blocking the payment for about a week but the tracking page shows the correct order date. As someone new to (serious) Apple computing this experience has left me feeling pretty jaundiced! Especially as they've been sitting on my cash for the last four weeks!

Weekend?

Does anyone know if things still get updated on the weekend? I know UPS/FedEx does not deliver, I don't mean that. I mean is it possible to move from "Prosessing Items" to "Preparing" on the weekend?

Mine has just switched to shipped, but delivery date moved from Jan 11th (latest date of the original delivery window) to Jan 15th.

Still think it will be here by the originally stated time and Apple's now playing conservatively, usually takes one week or less to get Apple stuff from China.

I'm not yet clear if, besides people being pissed about other's people having their orders shipped before them, Apple has yet missed a delivery date that was originally given at the time of order.
