Delivery Thread for 27" iMac December Orders

Knew it was bound to change soon. 3-4 weeks seems short, maybe they are producing them faster now.
FedEx flights to Memphis
Looking at the FlightAware web site, it shows that there has been one Fed Ex flight out of Shanghai everyday, except December 23rd. FDX90 leaves around 10:30am Eastern Time (11:30pm in Shanghai) and goes directly to Memphis, TN.
So, for those who's iMac is soon to leave, that seems to be the flight schedule.

Wish I had known this sooner, I would have driven the hour to my closes Apple Store.
Except MacMall, who decided to start taking orders on them even before Apple did. Shame on me for falling in line...

It could be because apple is replacing my computer that was under warranty.

Are you pulling our leg? That looks pretty far ahead. If so, good for you.
. Now if only mine would get moving!
not on the UK site still states dispatch January
so that why the USA appear to get there mac quicker
we have to pay more and wait longer but we still buy
Arguably 4 weeks from now is February. The UK site stating January implies you would get it quicker than our US counterparts.
But that is me being fussy and agree it is unusual for UK not to have same status as the US, it nay just need someone to get into work to update it.

WTF? I ordered on the 7th, still processing here.. Have you bribed someone?
ok so heres an important question for some of you guys...did you change your order at anytime after your initial order? If so has it impacted your delivery time at all? I for one ordered on dec 5, updated to the ssd a week later and was reassured by the guy from apple that it made no difference in shipping times since at that time nothing would be shipping for a couple weeks anyway...But now the longer time passes with still "processing" and people who ordered 2 weeks after me are getting theirs, im starting to get pissed and feel like i was misled slightly...so anyone else change their order and what if any impact did it have on your delivery time?
? I initially ordered on 31. november, but was told that no changes were possible to my order, so I had to delete my initial order and order again on the 7th. I'm pretty sure that when you changed your order, it was made as a complete new order on that day.
On the Apple tracking site my order shows as placed on November 30th - which was my original order date. There was then a mix-up with my bank blocking my bank transfer - that took a week or so to sort out. So my question - will Apple have re-set my order date to the date the payment actually went through, or is the 30 Nov date the one they're working with? Which leads to the obvious final question... if the 30 Nov is the date they're using then why am I still at Processing: January ?? I've requested the usual mods, some extra RAM, the 1TB HD and a numeric keyboard...
not an error. happened to mine to. They do that apparently when there is some kind of update ( software probably); They cancel the order and put in a new one. Someone from the apple helpdesk told me this
