It says the same for my order, i ordered on the 7/01/ (last Monday) last time i checked (yesterday) it still said "Processing". Hopefully it will change soon :) i don't know if the timeframe has anything to do with your order (such as being longer for custom configurations) but my order is as follows.

NEW ORDER STATUS!!??:D:p

So, I'm one of the lucky US folks with an iMac shipped 3 weeks and a day after ordering and I'm tracking the FedEx movement cuz that's the kind of wild weekends I have anymore. It missed flight 90 direct to Memphis, but hopped on 28 to Anchorage. Then 'twas blessed by customs and made flight 12 to Memphis only to be diverted to Atlanta. Wonder what's with the side trip. Delivery is slated for 16th, but it should be here Monday assuming it can find its was to Memphis sometime today.

Wednesday is looking likely

You might be right. Mine is on the exact same trip as yours is. Such a shame that they have been sent south. I'm hoping the weather stays somewhat decent up here and doesn't cause any delivery delays. My last order from Apple arrived in the middle of a bad snow storm, I felt so bad for the delivery driver but he was cheery and said they don't stop unless there is bad ice up here.

Looks like Aluminum213's and my order is traveling with yours :)

Nearly panicked when I got an email from Apple this morning that my order had been halted due to payment authorization failure. The card I used was subsequently pilfered and used for fraudulent transactions, so the number was canceled...all I could think was that these bastards were getting me a second time around by throwing me to the back of the queue!

Good news: payment modified, and order now preparing for shipment!

Ordered 17 Dec, still "Processing." US order.

3.4 i7
8GB RAM
3TB Fusion
680 MX 2GB
MM/Wireless keyboard

It's a 3.2 i5
standard ...
:-(

So what? No biggie.. :) I got the 3.4ghz i7 myself, but I think the increase in CPU temperature will be more noticable than any real performance gains..at least at present time.. ;)
However, given Intel is completely dominating the CPU-market now, you can assume that the development of CPU-power is going to drastically slow down. Therefore an i7 CPU might have more longviety, but unless you're a professional video/audio-editor, it's not really necessary. I keep debating with myself if it was a good idea to get the i7...

Ordered on Dec 26th, went to prepared for shipping overnight:

27"
3.4 i7
3tb Fusion
2gb NVIDIA 680 MX
Wireless keyboard/trackpad/mouse

Can't wait!

Guess I have to order that ram now...OWC!

3TB Fusion Drive
NVIDIAGeFrc GTX 680MX 2G GDDR5

Order just switched to "Preparing for Shipment" sometime this morning. I believe I am setup for expedited shipping after calling Apple to check on the status last week, so I'm expecting to see this sometime in the next 3-5 days.

I also have 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM hanging out here ready to install.

Windows convert after getting a Mac Book Pro 13" this Christmas, desktop was due an upgrade so......

Ordered 13/01/12 @ 1am:-

27" iMax
3.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM-2X4GB
1TB Fusion Drive
NVIDIAGeFrc GTX 680MX 2G GDDR5
MAGIC MOUSE+MAGIC TRACKPAD-Z

Along with 2tb Time Capsule, HP 8600 Plus printer, Parallels 8 and Apple Care. Going to order 32Gb RAM from Corsair shortly to upgrade it for Parallels more than anything. Need Parallels for work as both mine and my wifes workplaces are very Microsoft focused and we must have use and understand of their products.

It's saying delivery will be between the 11/02 and the 22/02. How accurate have others found the estimated dates to be?

Sometime in the night, Preparing for Shipment happened. Will update the spreadsheet soon.

i7, 8gb, 680MX, 3TB Fusion, Magic Mouse, Wireless Keyboard. Shipping to GA.

Can't wait :)

At long, long last...

Ordered 30 Nov, payment confirmed 12 Dec... once the track order page came up again my status was changed to Preparing for Shipment... to the UK... a day after I found a machine of almost the same spec in the Exeter Apple Store and posted that info here - must be a co-incidence... even Apple aren't that detail-aware, surely?!

Anyway... BTO as noted below. I've never been able to update the spreadsheet... apologies for that... my wait from payment confirm has been just over 4 weeks with probably a week or so to go to receiving the machine?

3.2GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
16GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM-2X8GB
1TB Fusion Drive
NVIDIAGeFrc GTX 675MX 1G GDDR5

Acknowledging that this thread represents only a tiny fraction of iMac orders, I'd say at this point to have no expectations. It'll show up when it shows up, and the day it ships depends on a great deal more than on which day you actually placed your order.

12/23/12 i5 with 680MX, 1T standard drive went preparing for shipment over the last couple of hours. USA Florida

Just went preparing for shipping within last 25 minutes!!!

I am one of the disheartened ones. Ordered 12/22 and keep seeing folks posting with preparing to ship and ship notices who ordered after I did. I really would like to get this since my old PC is promised to a relative and I am going to see them (they live in another state) the end of the month. I would like to have a reasonable time to move stuff to the new machine and clean off and prep the two year old PC. The sort of random order to the way things are shipping is enough to drive you nuts.
