iOS 7 will only be available on retina devices (iPhone 4, 4S, 5). The 3GS is getting too outdated and old to run the new OS and the thinner font won't look good on a non retina screen.

The iPad mini isn't retina, and is still being sold.

Emperor, the text is illegible!

This better not be legit or I'm going to have to break down and get Lasik surgery for my eyes and splurge for the Steve Austin bionic eye.

Every website is just referencing 9to5 Mac's "mock ups" I haven't seen any evidence or confirmation that 9to5 Mac's "mockup" is truly what iOS 7 will look like.

It seems we have a case of, "making something up for page hits".
I find it hard to believe that 9to5 Mac is the ONLY news resource with insider information.

relax people, this is just a "mock up" of somebody drawing ios7 from his memory to what he saw... im sure Ive is capable of designing a much much much better lookin iOS than this.

Too flat design can fall flat on its face?

Although, people are welcoming a flat design I hope there is a balance between the flat design and the old glossy look (which I personally like and think, is what makes Apple software stand apart, at least superficially - although skeuomorphism, was a bit of an overkill in that regard).

The mockups are scary and hope the actual design is pleasing to the eye.

Wow! I didn't realize there were so many folks out there that only use iOS because it's prettier than Android.

Are we really THAT superficial?

There's nothing wrong with the existing icons in general, what we're bored of is the aged interface and how we interact with the software.

Flattening the existing icons won't make iOS any better.

I love Jony Ive's hardware design ethos, but I'm really sceptical how it will translate to software. I like simple hardware, but immersive software.

seen the photo, no way this is going to happen. 1000% fake. Any better rumours?
