was your black transparent case ACTUALLY transparent enough to see the apple on the back of your phone through?

did they ask you to ship the case back, or just refund your purchase price

It was not transparent enough to see logo. The biggest problem was that the case did not fit iPhone 5. They didn't ask anything. I filed the claim through Paypal and they almost immediately agreed to refund cc and the case was closed. At least they are doing the right thing.

I've been emailing the company back and forth. Based on my descriptions they said the case is "defective" and are offering to mail me a replacement. If the replacement I get is still garbage, I'm going to request a refund. If they refuse to offer me the refund without me having to pay to send the case back, I will file a dispute.

Is there a time limit for placing a dispute? Like a maximum number of days from the purchase date?

----------

Just read that it's 45 days to file a dispute

45 days i believe since you first made the transaction

When they reply again I'll ask how long it'll be before I get the replacement. If it's going to take too long I'm just going to outright ask for the refund, because I don't want this dragged out to where I can't get PayPal to help me out. If they refuse the refund then I will put in th dispute.

So I just got my Desmay Slight 5 case today in the mail. I ordered a black transparent and I receive a black opaque model . The case came preloaded with scratches EVERYWHERE, inside and on the back . Before putting on the case I noticed it was very poorly manufactured with sharp points randomly around the case . Like someone else put it, it looks like the case was halfway done and they took it off the manufacturing line and shipped them out . I finally put the case on my phone and I first noticed that it is poorly shaped . The phone does NOT lie flat when placed on a table . The bottom of the case is thicker than the top which causes the case to wobble back and forth a bit when placed flat on a table . Finally I noticed that NOT ONLY 5 minutes after I put the case on my phone there are already stress marks on the case near the dock connector . I will be emailing Desmay for a refund. This case is GARBAGE . This company is a scam . Very upset .

EDIT: I posted on their facebook page "What is the best way about getting a refund?" and they deleted my post... SCAM

See if you don't get accused of being OCD and a manipulator like they called folks here in this thread

has anyone received the ones from ebay. Looking to see what is the best ebay super slim case. I ordered one for 1.87 which is TPU but I doubt that will be the best option.

I've got 2 eBay cases and both are good tbh. I've had the desmay on my 4s before it cracked and I'd say they're comparable. I can only upload one photo at a time from my iPad

The first 3 photos are from this link

This is a soft flexible plastic. The cuttings for the buttons and camera are slightly large. Cost £1.18

I got a question how soft/flexible is this case like does it bend very easily? I got 2 eBay slim cases but both were were a hard shell type plastic that "snap" onto the phone. I want something that just bends on and that won't scratch the glass edges...does this case fit that bill?

It is flexible, even when not on the iPhone it flexes/curves up slightly so definitely not a hard plastic, doesn't need to be snapped on. The first case was more flexible than the second.

It is not as soft as plain silicone though right as in it gets stuck in your pocket? I think I'm going to get one I've got an Incipio but want a slim case for when I'm not too worried about drop protection

Thanks
