Just got my Slight in the mail today and the craftsmanship is pretty poor. The case has scratches on the back, side and bottom plus it is bowed. Might contact them to see if I can get an exchange but guessing I'd have better luck filing a dispute with Paypal.

PayPal is best, that doesn't look transparent to me. The fact it cost so much to ship it back is an issue. PayPal claim is best that its not as advertised in that its not transparent and full of scratches
Hmmm just saw the photo of the "opaque black" version on their FB page. Looks exactly like the apparent "transparent black" people are receiving.
It's going to cost more money than it's worth to send this crap back, will disputing through PayPal actually work?

Thats weird ... i've been watching the Pinlo site and they haven't posted a slice case for the iphone 5 yet ... I wonder how these guys are able to offer it ?
Pinlo site is only showing the consize slice II which looks quite different ...

That looks like a polycarbonate case which is far more rigid than the kind of plastic that the Desmay or its clones are made from ... and looks thicker too ..
Looks nice but I prefer the softer more flexible kind of plastic
I am in the process of a paypal claim due to the low quality of thhe Desmay case.
Desmay have refused my first claim and even though they have stated that they are going to send me a replacement case of better quality, I have heard nothing else from them since.
They have stopped replying to my messages. I will update you regarding my case.

Pretty weird. I put in a PayPal dispute yesterday night and just got word from PayPal this morning that Desmay has refunded me the full cost (case + shipping) and that it should process through in 5 days.
I indicated that my case was damaged and that it also did not match what was advertised when sold to me.
I also got my Desmay's today. Same problems everyone else is having. My coworker actually ran his fingernail on the back and it left a huge scratch. Terrible build quality. Not impressed by Desmay on these cases. I'm submitting a Paypal claim this morning.
EDIT: Dispute now filed. Hopefully the refund my money on this deal. Any other suggestions for thin cases?

They just denied my claim. I will escalate this to Paypal making a decision now.

"We have already sent this customer replacements cases by express shipping today free of charge! Which he agreed, and wants now a refund...
Regarding the delay in delivery, customer wasn't aware of the Chinese holidays when he purchased his case!"
Apparently he was sending me new cases? And does this really resolve the issue with black transparent cases not being transparent?

First you try to sell these cases on here, now you're trolling people trying to get a refund for this crappy product? I smell a troll at best, and a Desmay employee at worst.
I will probably be making a claim, but don't want to jump the gun since I have not received it yet. The more claims they get the better because paypal will see that there is a real problem.

This case has all the quality of the cheap package of 10 cases for $0.25 that you can find on ebay.
It's really frustrating that I can't even ask for a refund without having to pay $10+ to ship it back to Hong Kong.
