I just got my case in the mail, and the plastic it was sent in was shattered. The black isn't transparent at all, and the edges are sharp and poorly cut.

This case has all the quality of the cheap package of 10 cases for $0.25 that you can find on ebay.

It's really frustrating that I can't even ask for a refund without having to pay $10+ to ship it back to Hong Kong.

I agree, I am hoping for a refund but I will keep at them until I receive it.
They ripped me off and I expect paypal to not let them away with it.
So if anyone is not happy then get onto paypal and dispute your transaction.

Some shady stuff by these people. Thank goodness i never bought anything from them.

And there ALWAYS seems to be a "Chinese holiday"...
 
On a side note the pinlo slice looks pretty good. Don't know whether to get that or wait for the ps case
 
This company sounds absolutely terrible and I have to say I'm quite happy I didn't end up falling for funny business. Good luck to everyone who was unfortunate to get taken for $30+ and $40+, hope PayPal has some sense in the matter.
 
got mine today...not transparent as well =/

anyone with a successful paypal claim? what happens in that case? -- do they have you return the case? send a new one? refund a portion of the purchase price deemed fair?
 
got mine, not transparent at all. and alll scuffed up. If i checked out as a paypal guest how do i go about making a claim???

I am in the same situation. I tried entering the receipt number as my transaction ID and it was invalid. Anyone know how to file a dispute when you checked out as a guest?

I would try contactinig desmay first..I emailed late last night and just told them I got the wrong color, and i had an email when I woke up saying they get more transparent black in 1-2 weeks..

I don't know if the production issue will be sorted out by then, but IF i can use the case i have now (since i have no other protection for my phone) until then and i don't have to pay 10 bucks to ship it back, im happy with that alternative.
 
Update from my Paypal Dispute. Here is what I said last to Desmay and what they replied with:

Have you changed anything since the initial shipment that I will notice with these cases you are now sending me, or are you just sending me cases that have the same exact problems? If so, I want a refund, not a bunch of defective cases I won't use.

They didn't even address me on whether they will be sending retooled cases. I'm guessing they haven't satisfied the issue yet. We'll see when I get my new ones in the mail, but I'm not getting my hopes up. If I don't get a case that was what I paid for, I will be pushing this up to Paypal for resolution, and with the dispute load they have with this company, it's going to be interesting how it gets resolved.

is your new one on the way? If so, you'll probably have an idea if the new cases are manufactured better by the time I get my new case shipped..

i didn't even put the screen protector on because i don't want to jeopardize being able to return or get a refund on the case.

They did not ask for them back. The new ones are on a plane right now. They gave me a tracking number this time (odd since they didn't do it last time).

I'll let you know if they have changed from the original orders vs. now.

somehow i doubt they will be any better since the next batch won't be available for another week or two and yours is already on a plane. good luck though!!!
 
I just received my black transparent case. I test fit it and it doesn't even fit. The bottom top part of the i5 is sticking out like the case is too small. I will be filing a claim with Paypal right now.
 
haha, maybe I should just make claim now before even receiving it to speed up this process. This is ridiculous.

was your black transparent case ACTUALLY transparent enough to see the apple on the back of your phone through?

did they ask you to ship the case back, or just refund your purchase price
