3:30hours after 5pm local deadline and still June for my Dev-order ... Also have the regular order in place. One of both I really would like to cancel and get any watch they can ship to me ... Come'on :apple:, same-day-delivery as usual in Japan, please !! I want to test some stuff on the watch :D

Anyone had any progress on their orders? I clicked through from email to order but still saying June dispatch

Mine now says:

"Processing Items
Available to ship: 2-3 weeks
Delivers: May 14 - May 20 by Standard Shipping"

WTF?? Standard shipping to SF takes 3 weeks? Are they walking it to me??

Hope this is just standard processing cruft and unrelated to their "expedited" promises.

If not, my original order will probably arrive before this one, defeating the whole purpose of this lottery.

I expect (hope) this is "processing cruft" and think we'll likely see a favorable change in status by day's end.

I don't think Apple will use your local time to determine the end of the order-period. They always use Cupertino local time.

Was wondering too, but mail from :apple: says so, see first post with the mail copy and the same wording my mail I received. Anyway: time to go to bed and sleep and when I wake up and the shipment date will be updated ... And then I wake up one more time, but really ...

More info...

I expect (hope) this is "processing cruft" and think we'll likely see a favorable change in status by day's end.

Just called Developer Support. Based on "the information that has been given to [them]," that it's probably an automatic update reflecting Apple's current shipping status, and that we should ignore it: The watch will ship by 5PM tomorrow (4/28).

Fingers crossed.

I've failed to get in touch with Apple developer support tried the order line they seem to not know about it been on hold for 10 or so mins as they look to escalate my order so I dunno what's going on at present lol

Got an email on my shipping information saying my watch will ship in 2-3 weeks, I assume this is all just fluff, but it is making me nervous, I have some of my developers flying in to work on the hardware.

Just got the same email. Not very happy with how they're handling this and the apparent lack of communication between departments. No one seems to know what is going on.

If you guys don't mind post back here if you get a notification of shipment. Thanks!

Just received an (automated) email:

"Your Apple Watch Sport is expected to ship within the next 2 to 3 weeks.
When your order ships, you will receive a Shipment Notification email with tracking information.
For the most up-to-date information about your order, please visit online Order Status."

The online order status has not changed from this morning, when it changed from June to May 14-20.

Again, I called Developer Support this morning and they told me that, as far as they know, the watch will ship Tomorrow (4/28) by CPB, and that we should still continue to disregard the online info.

Hopefully at some point (tomorrow?) there will be a real tracking number, regardless of what the online order says.

Fingers (still) crossed.

Word of the Day: Konfoozed

1st world problems at work right here!

For sure. Then again, I do work professionally as an iOS developer. I guess that makes my whole career "first world".

Anyway, I just got off the phone with developer relations and they assured me that despite what the email says the order will go out tomorrow at the latest. They also said if the ship time is not corrected by this evening to contact them again.

So just to clarify, this could only be taken advantage of IF you are a paid developer AND you received one of these randomly generated emails?

I'm a paid dev making apps as a career and did not receive one of these emails. I went ahead and ordered the blue band sport anyways but my estimate says June.

Thoughts?

If you didn't win the Lottery you wait, the normal amount of time.

Also here in Germany - no mail - no change in the order status. It's still expected for june.

Now its 10 a.m. ... This will become a very nervous day...

I ... got ... my ... trackingnumber :D:D

The status also changed to today; though no email or notification received

Same situation for me, another developer in Germany. Yesterday, one of my customers successfully purchased his Watch in Berlin. It drives me mad and crazy, not being able to test my App that is available in the App Store on a real device.

While I highly appreciate Apple's initiative for developers to put an expedited order, it comes much too late. Apple's developer communication should at least answer the key question of each developer here: "When will I be able to test my app on a real device?"

When I have to regularly visit this MacRumors Post in order to get any information about the expedited order for developers, that does not excel Apple's developer communication as being sufficient. I am extremely happy about this forum, so let's continue updating our experiences here!
