I think they are behind as well. I called and talked to developer support, they can't see the orders but admitted that they are behind and trying to get them all out today.

At the end the rep thanked me for being understanding, apparently they are getting a number of calls and some folks are not being as nice as I must have been.

Right always be nice to support reps, as usual the higher ups do not communicate to them the proper responses to these questions, so they are basically left to guess. I'm hoping for an apple watch to show up at my door and they forget to charge my card at this point...not likely, but I hope.

I figured out how to get a real answer on this:

tweet at tim cook

I called dev support as well. Rep said they are getting tons of calls. His understanding is that ALL orders shipped yesterday, but they haven't processed payment or status on many of them. They're trying to catch up and some sort of email should be going out today.

I find it hard to believe they shipped them all without charging, but who knows?

You could try tracking by reference @ ups.com (use your phone number on the order and fill in country and postal code). I tried and it does not look like any unexpected packages are showing up for me today.

Just to add one more data point

California developer here. 9am April 29th and order has still not shipped. Credit card not charged.

I'm in Cali too. I was charged and prepped for shipping in the middle of the night last night but haven't shipped yet.

I definitely agree about being nice to dev and store support. Even though this is "guaranteed" it's still a special privilege for developers and no one should feel entitled. Apple was nice enough to give us preferential treatment and to acknowledge the benefit our community brings.

Another California developer with no signs of activity yet on my expedited order. Glad to know I'm not alone! There's no confirmation of the expedited-ness of the order, so I was starting to worry that I'd somehow just placed a normal order.

East coast dev here, mine was just delivered two hours ago, so looks like some in the USA are getting there.

Did your app store status change from "Processing ..." or were you completely surprised by the delivery?

I'm "preparing for shipment" and my CC was charged. I did call dev support this morning, but that could be entirely unrelated.

Happened to a "batch"

I've been told by 2 different "senior" support people at dev relations that they are very much aware of the issue and as of a few minutes ago still had no idea what was going on. They would email or call to let me know an update. I rarely call them but when I do they are really nice people. The best guess from the last senior support person was that shipments are done in "batches" and that one of the developer batches got bungled somehow.

Still no charge. Still "Processing". Same 2-3 week delivery date.

I'm still stuck on the same status, so you've got company at least. Thanks for posting what you learned from the call.

I posted in the other thread, but I'm in the same boat - 'Processing Items' with a May 14 - May 20 ship date.
