Ok, so if I noticed someone with a titanium AW i’d have the view; ‘Christ what an overpriced waste of money compared to the aluminium’. I wouldn’t say it though. He difference is Apple watches aren’t impressive status objects we tend to notice and envy. Others people’s choices are personal and our opinions in that are irrelevant.i notice apple watches, and their choice of bands. I also think cases are tacky.
Lets not act like people don't look at other peoples conscious and conspicuous intents of apparel and wearables.
My boss has a personal wealth of around €100m and he doesn’t upgrade his Apple products every year. People’s interest level in these sorts of things plays more of a role than affordability. Many people buy what they can’t afford too. It’s an irrelevant assumption to base this stuff on wealth.Again, it's all about the relative value. To you, the cost of the upgrade is not justified by the new features. It's a personal decision, and one that is not informed without taking into account how much one can afford. I'm not saying "you can't afford it", i'm saying if you made 4 billion dollars a year, you would probably upgrade every year. To pretend that how much you can afford on items like an Apple Watch plays absolutely no role in your decision is completely false.
