As of tomorrow, VZ is firing up their 200th market and says they will have 400 covered by the end of year.

Verizon LTE is king. I've had a Verizon iPhone 4/4S and AT&T iPad 2 the last year or so, the AT&T HSPA+ speeds are not that much faster than my verizon iphone, and there usually is not much of a real performance difference. Only verizon has LTE coverage where I live, and they have way more coverage than AT&T right now, so it was a no brainer to me. By the end of the year there won't even be too many places that verizon doesn't have 4G coverage.
