Did you order to have one shipped @ ATT store?

It looks like the white ones are shipping first.
 
I hope the 'You ordered on Friday and it'll ship the 15th' schpiel is real.

I wonder if it applies to all models...:confused:
 
Ordered my iPhone yesterday and have decided that I am not checking anything. It comes in when it comes in. Life is too short to obsess over a phone and checking the status every 20 minutes isn't going to make it come in any faster.

I order around 11 am on Friday, and just picked my white 16g up. It was replacing my old 8g. The guy at the store said they'd gotten 3 in that day for fullfilment. He wasn't sure of the rhyme or reason.
I was kicking myself about signing up, but after the 3 hr wait in line, it was nice to know when it was available and go and get it.
 
my black 16gb ordered friday at noon is also winging its way to me. I should have it tomorrow (God willing). Finally!
 
Well, one of my two 8gb phones came in today (ordered friday morning) which really makes me mad because its a two hour drive to the ATT store. I really don't want to make two trips.
 
Maybe AT&T's tracking system crumbled under the weight of so many iPhones shipping at once?

This is what i am hoping. I can get on at all now. Some weird message comes up. I'll just pop in Guitar Hero and chill for a few hours.

I wish I had your patience. Ever since UPS and FedEx created real time tracking I've become obsessed with tracking packages. It's pointless and probably immature but it keeps me off the streets and away for the drugs. Given the option of tracking something with a tracking system that provides no information is kind of my own private Chinese Water Torture. Good God I've become everything I beat up in high school.

I got the same message... and 690 times! eeks thats a lot, but im sure many others have as well :) If i wasnt at work, im sure mine would have been the same, but at least i stopped at my AT&T store on the way home and they said they had received 2 of the DFs... i was number 4 so i hope mine comes tomorrow!!!

Ordered mine friday at 10:30. 8gb :) oh please oh please!!

I was just able to access the order status for the first time in a few hours, and my 16GB Black is now showing as shipped, and will arrive tomorrow by 3PM.
I ordered Friday, July 11 at 11:00AM in Jefferson City, MO.


Yay:)

P.S. The pick up location was Forth Worth, TX.

my backorder status flip flopped from 1 to 0 all day yesterday, then stayed at one. it now just changed for the first time today to 0.

PLEASE!!

I still don't understand why people who ordered the same thing AFTER I did are getting it shipped first. Maybe my status just hasn't updated. If not, I guess I'll be speaking to an AT&T rep at some point and voicing my complaint.
