JUST PICKED IT UP! It has a yellowish tint to the screen.. is that something on all the phones or is that just on a few (replacable)?
 
I'm number 4 on the que. Everyone after me is shipping. So far they have shipped like 10-15 after me. I hate being the guy that got skipped. The whole time I was waiting I would see people get skipped and 3 ahead of me are still waiting...going on 3 weeks. Now I am one of those people....hate it. :(

I ordered a 16GB black back on 7/18. I was told then that it would be 5-7 days... but today after following up with AT&T, I was told it could be another 21 days. I've already gone through iphone withdrawl (my 2G iphone broke -hence why I ordered the 3G iphone)...so I was just thinking of cancelling and just not have a phone. Other than missing watching movies on the train to work, I really like being disconnected from the network.

Sweet....I ordered the same on the 19th, and I think there is only possibly 2 others ahead of me right now. For the 8 gb black, that is. Someone got theirs shipped tonight at 26992 and 26994 shipped previously (white one) and with me being 26996, that would just leave 3 and 5 ahead of me, IF they ordered the 8 gb. If they both ordered the 16, I am next!!!

Haha word, I hope that is the case man. I'd tell you to keep refreshing your browser, but I assume you're already doing that at this stage in the game :)

Do I ever miss the script that ran it for us already!!!

If mine does not sneak out late tonight (not giving up hope since someone's on the east coast just had theirs show up at 0140 am), then I could possibly have it tomorrow. If not, definitely by Thursday. I am fairly certain the 8's are going out right now, so I am happier each moment I ordered an 8 instead of 16....cause I was not ordering the white (personal preference).
 
are you guys checking the individual DF orders. I did and noticed I was number 4 in line, but upon further inspection.. I noticed one person before me had their phone listed as backorder =1 while all of us have backorder = 0. I'm thinking they ordered a different phone. So in reality I may only be 3 behind and as of this post...my backorder status is still showing 0.

...anyways, I'm totally stoked. I've gone to Apple Stores nearly every day until I finally admitted defeat... or, so I thought! Two days shipping! Of course, it was a W16...

yep same here man! i was gonna get the 16 but i decided it would take forever i am really happy i went with the 8 cuz it looks like most of the orders in front of me are the 16s! hopefully it will ship soon!!
 
Ordered mine from At&T on the Wednesday following the launch. Was told it would take up to 21 days. Got an email the next Friday morning saying it had been shipped (it was shipped on the day before and my card was debited then)...checked the shipping tracking and found it would be delivered to the store that day...they rang me in the afternoon and I went in & picked it up. No shipping charges, no waiting in a queue. I asked them if they had had a shipment for the store since the original launch shipment and the answer was no.
 
Ok, true test for me now. 26995 just changed over to shipped. That leaves 26993 as not shipped (must be a 16gb, I hope) and the order directly before me 26995 went. So, if I was correct about the 8 gb, I may have an update coming soon, and I may have my phone tomorrow!!!

Now I do not want to go to sleep!!!
 
4:15am and it finally shows my status as shipped! By 3pm today!! There's no fracking way this thing will live up to all of this buildup. :D:D

So, 16GB black ordered 7/16, shipped yesterday but didn't show it under my status until 4:15am. BTW, I'm almost always up this late...
 
Mine is still showing 0 on the backorder this morning im hoping it'll ship today, from what i can tell when i check orders above me looks like im still #6 in line.
 
Well, unless the 16 gb black is going out right now, and I have a ton ahead of me with 8 gb black, I just got skipped. I saw 26995 ship out before I went to bed, and then 26997 ship out while I was sleeping, so I wonder if my guess of the 8 gb ones going out was wrong.

I will probably call the store to ask, but I am sure they will not tell me.
 
Well, the only thing I can take as ok news is that the one shipped out ahead of me is due in tomorrow, not today, hopefully that just means by luck of the packing, his made it to the scanner first.

I am praying I was not wrong about the size going out...if I was wrong, I still have a long wait ahead of me...:mad:
