We'll finally get to hear something concerning the Mini!

Probably that it's dead and buried.

I really hope that doesn't happen, the level of frustration that will cause some of my clients would be unreal.

I know how that one ends, though. I'll be building Hackintoshes for them.

I really need a new iPad. My air is just so slow now.
Have you tried changing the battery?

(I don't know that Apple is throttling iPads, but given what happened with the iPhone, I'd suspect they are.)

Please make this happen-

That mock-up is missing something...

:looks at iPhone X:

MacBook with ONE MORE PORT would give Apple a sale. I don't do dongles, thanks.

Patiently waiting since 2011 to replace my MBA.
That will require extra PCIe lanes which requires a CPU with higher TDP and a more powerful motherboard and a much more powerful GPU to power two thunderbolt external displays.

My 2018 Predictions:

March: AirPower and AirPods wireless charging case. iPhone SE 2 will be announced and have the same specs as the iPhone 8 but be missing a few key technologies—probably wireless charging, maybe still leave out 3D Touch, probably clocked a little slower. Front and back cameras will be upgraded but still have a singluar rear camera. Priced at $499 for 32GB and $599 for 128GB. Maybe another smaller thing—probably some watch bands. Less likely, but maybe a blue iPhone. Perhaps a new Apple-created app.

June: Mac Pro unveiling, available late 2018. MacBook Pro refresh with revised keyboard. iMac refresh. Not sure if they can get the new six-core CPUs in the regular iMac but we'll see. At least expect cheaper SSD upgrades and faster GPUs. MacBook Pro won't see 32GB of RAM until 2019 and Cannon Lake. iPad Pro 3, though they may wait if they're going to do OLED. What I'd like to see is an iPad Pro that combines the 10.5" and 12.9" models into a single 11.5 to 11.9" model that has reduced bezels and the same usable work area as the 12.9" model but @3X resolution. Put OLED in it, don't do a notch but have a much, much more slim top and bottom bezel that houses Face ID and I'd be all over that—even starting at $999. Call it the iPad X, lol. Show off an even more upgraded iOS 12 for the iPad Pro/X to make people want it that much more. The only caveat I have about this prediction is that it may slip to late autumn '18 or even spring '19 if it's a big redesign with OLED and everything else. I also wonder if they might release it alongside other models until the price can come down some more, but who knows.

September: Apple Watch Series 4. Perhaps a new larger size or form factor (round or narrower bezels that are more flush?) and a new material/color at a higher price point. Better battery life and BT 5.0 for faster communication with iPhone. Single $749 6.1" active LCD iPhone, iPhone 8 price drop to $599, iPhone Plus discontinued. iPhone X upgrade, iPhone X Plus 6.5" introduced. There's an outside chance that they might drop the price of the iPhone X slightly—perhaps if they can get some cheaper OLED panels. The problem I see with their pricing is that iPhone X Plus is going to be so freaking expensive. If the iPhone X started at $899 then it leaves more room for an iPhone X Plus at $1049 and $1299. An iPhone X Plus 256GB priced at $1399 is pretty insane—but who knows at this point. Apple will also launch their new TV streaming service.

Those two products don’t have a decent profit margin thus strategically thy should be phased out along with MBA.
That's loony.

First, they ARE profitable products, Apple isn't losing money on them.

Second, they help expand the userbase, which makes the Mac and iPhone platforms more attractive to developers. Strategically, that's critical if Apple wants to remain viable long-term. The only way it strategically makes sense to kill them would be if the strategy is to increase short-term profits at the expense of long-term viability, and while many companies do try that, they eventually realize that it's stupid and stop it, or they end up out of business.

I've looked into it - and they are not.

That must be why the sales of the iPad are not as high.. lol.

For what it's worth it has a clocked up 5S processor which at this point, is pretty old.

That will require extra PCIe lanes which requires a CPU with higher TDP and a more powerful motherboard and a much more powerful GPU to power two thunderbolt external displays.
Why?

Just because it has two ports doesn't mean that those ports have to be able to run two external displays. The MacBook doesn't even have a Thunderbolt port at this point, it's just USB, the PCIe lanes aren't the issue.

I wish they would stop doing this yearly-cycle and focus on reliability and dependability of their products. They are creating themselves the mess they're in. iOS is buggy because there are too many devices. It is not tought-through in ease of use, because they push themselves every year. This is Apple, they can take a year off - granted, in case of the Mac Pro, they did it for years - the next iteration must be a diamond.
I'd say the opposite! Please go back to yearly updates on ALL your products so that we get iterative improvements again instead of nothing, nothing, nothing, BIG FLASHY CHANGES!!!

like to see a modernized SE, slimmer body, no home button

If the iPhone SE is updated in March, I believe it will retain the home button, similar form factor, perhaps a slightly larger display, increased resolution, Improved camera and A11 processor from the iPhone 8. I don't think it will include 3D Touch to retain the price point at a lower base.

But what I'm curious to see, is a lot are questioning if it will retain the 3.5 mm Jack if the casing design has not changed. Should be intereting.

iPad Mini update please! Preferably an ipad mini Pro...or at least be able to use the Apple pencil on it. Thank you.

Macbook as in 12 inch Macbook? Is there a refresh to that series of processors for it to go to?

The 13" serves to see the biggest boost, from ULVs moving to quad cores. The 15" would be later in the year for 6 core Cannon Lake I assume, unless it goes with the Radeon+Core Kaby lake G package.
