Looks like I probably shouldn't have waited until the last day to try to get my "free" Apple TV. The deal appears to be gone now. The Apple TV page is gone (www.directvnow.com/appletv) and when you go through the sign up they only show the FireTV offer.

When I signed up for the promotion back in December, it took about two weeks for me to receive my ATV.
I signed up on Sunday, March 26th and got my device the following Thursday, March 30th. I was shocked, as the signup page told me two to three weeks. A very pleasant surprise, to say the least.

For AT&T wireless unlimited plus customers you can get DirectvNow for $10/month. Under Manage my account within the DirectvNow website, it asks you to input your ATT cell number to validate.
I had the previous Go Big for $35 but really I never watched all the 100+ channels. The $300/year saved along with the HBO included is a hard deal to beat for anyone with ATT unlimited plus right now.
Just thought someone could benefit by knowing the process is seamless and automatically adjusts your account/billing to $10 with DirectvNow/HBO.
Service has been stable for me. I still would like to see CBS locals added and a true DVR unlimited feature to compete with Youtube TV and Hulu Live.

Not so seamless here. I'm now stuck in chat. On my iPad! Although I've had the unlimited plus plan since day one, it's not showing up. I didn't even have the Go Big for $35. I just had the Live a Little - for $35.
Interesting I completed it from a Mac and process took all but 20 seconds for the system to validate the ATT cell number. The billing address and cell number need to all match up and I guess this could cause issues if a spouse or other family member was trying to validate.
Hope you get yours squared away quickly!
We left it with the CSR assuring me it would be resolved and they would get back to me. As of this morning, it's not fixed.
Anyone else get the marketing survey recently? This is the second one I've received, and it seems they're particularly interested in usage via mobile streaming.

1) Fix the UI bugs
2) Get CBS
3) DVR functionality
4) consider a real support channel
The grandfathered Go Big intro rate is still the biggest attraction, even in the face of announcements from YT and Hulu, but that can evaporate with a rate hike, and isn't enough if they don't work on the other areas.

I haven't gotten it. My desires are simple. I want streaming networks. I don't want to lose out on a show because of the weather. I don't want to be 4 or more days behind everyone else discussing a show we all watch.

The lack of DVR, limiting me to 2 concurrent devices and the cost of 50 dollars for a channel line up that is nearly the same as PS Vue's 35 dollar package meant I opted for PS Vue. The concurrent device was the show stopper for me, though.

Everyone PLASE go to the AT&T DirecTV forum (they monitor it) and post about tvIO11 & iOS11 app incompatibility The public beta is about to open and you will (I have ) lose DTV Now on your 
TV, iPad and iPhone. This needs to be addresses and AT&T is slow to do this. So don't want until you have iOS11/tvOS11.

I'm sure they're working on the app but it may not be released until go live for tvOS 11.

The public beta is probably still several weeks away. Devi release 1 is 6 days old.
At the Keynote Apple said the Public beta would be released "later this month". The 30th is just 19 days away.
