Thinking DVR is going to be another $5-10 per month. Which would be ok- idk if I would pay more than that

yes $5 would be a perfect value in my opinion, $40/month
Hulu is free for 50 hours which seems fair for normal usage. I watch a lot of shows and I delete them right after watching so it would take a while to accumulate 50 hours even when I use to record everything. But now I actually record less and less with Hulu's no commercial tier. If you need 200 hours it is an additional $14.95. They also off unlimited screens for $14.95. Or get both for $20 which seems like a good deal if you need that much storage.

I would like to see DTV Now do something similar. I really do not record much so a free option would be great for me.

i would be happy even with a 25hr free option. Maybe 50 free hours for customers that have AT&T as well?

Yeah, a free option would be great! I've gotten along without it for this long, lol, so anything from a 25-50 hour would definitely work for me.

Currently I use apps to catch up on what I miss, & I tend to do that quickly, so I'm guessing I'd be clearing out my dvr every couple of days or so at the latest.

I could do $5 or so (I was planning on just signing up for the CBS All Access, but now that CBS is coming, I could allocate that $5 to dvr..........or to HBO when the free trial ends next year)

I just went all in on DTV Now when I saw the free ATV offer the other day. The DTV Now app itself works for me for live, but for on demand shows, the picture freezes constantly. Glad I found this thread because now I am logging into the apps individually. So paying $105 up front, I got an ATV worth $150. I have AT&T Unlimited, so now I get $25 off the DTV Now and free HBO. Didn't take long for me to go take all my Comcast boxes back. Unfortunately I'm locked in to them for internet, but now instead of $170/mo, I'm paying $60 for internet and $10 for DTV Now. Sweet!

Smart!

I've watched a bunch of HGTV shows on DTV ON Demand recently with no issues.

I don't know if the ATV app still has the 72 hour rewind as I can't figure out where it is now.

Regardless, between DTVNow and Hulu no commercial I'm perfectly fine,

I'm still trying to figure out the 72 hour rewind also. I think I found it but it didn't seem to show every show that was on (only a couple) so I don't know if I'm doing it right or not. Anyway, if you open the guide and highlight the network icon (nickelodeon, espn etc) and click it, it brings up a menu with past and future dates and times. On the DTVNOW help page it says to click on the little "rewind" arrow next to a show to restart it and I can't seem to highlight that icon either. I'm new to the service so learning on the fly. Hope that help.

The emails that went out a couple weeks ago were to invitations to apply to become beta testers.

Only those who were accepted know whether the process has actually begun, and they may not allowed to talk about it.

There was an article posted today (from Cord Cutter News) that had some details.

It stated, according to beta testers, it offers 100 hours of dvr.

There's a new section titled "My Library", where you can or delete your shows. The article also stated the beta testers say it seems to work pretty well.

There was no mention of price (or if this will simply be included as a part of your subscription).

Apparently, some subscribers are starting to see CBS show up on the guides......so it looks like they are beginning to roll it out!
