Nice to see so many Disney fans here! It's funny though, when I'm at WDW I tend to put my phone in do not disturb mode so I can stay within the bubble and not be disturbed. No way I'd wear an apple watch there!

I think you just dated yourself there. Clearly not a millennial or younger. ;)

It's pretty super fantastic. Definitely hit up both parks (Studios and Islands), there's excellent HP stuff on both sides - plus - the train/ride that connects them can only be ridden if you have access to both parks, and it's a pretty neat experience.

I'm going to Universal tomorrow. Can't wait to ride the Hogwarts Express... It wasn't finished last time I was there!

True! I turn 40 in 3 weeks and am a watch guy. I wear my Rolex or Panerai to the parks, and pools, and Typhoon Lagoon but never ever check my notifications. The most important people in the world are there with me, so what do I care whose trying to contact me?

Lol I hear you. Just a little ribbing all in good fun. I'm right at the upper age of being a millennial so I have sort of hybridized views. I'm a slave to my phone but sort of realize the world around me is more important so I go back and forth with pseudo quitting FB, leaving my iPhone in the bedroom when I get home, and checking macrumors while we're out to dinner. ;)

Outstanding! Same here.

I was laughing at some comments on a site talking about the [new, but not really] requirement of leaving your cellphone behind (locker, non-rider) when riding the Rockit - someone was squawking along the lines of: "My husband's business might need to contact him!"

Really? While he's at a park? Let alone, for the 15-20 minutes he might be without his phone?

I really dislike Universal's theming. It feels like a glorified mall (Harry potter for example). Though the rides are good, I'm still a Disney park fanboy. :D

Wasn't meant to be folks..... On Friday evening 24/4 my watch made it to the UPS warehouse (literally 5 kilometers from my house) and was on an unpacked shipment scheduled to be delivered for Monday. I called UPS and talked to several people to see if I could pick it up before their 7pm closing since it was sitting there at the warehouse. They all sympathized with me but said they had strict orders from apple to unpack and deliver the shipment my watch was on for Monday. My family and I are now at DisneyWorld having an awesome time. Would have been great to use the watch on this trip to make it extra magical but at least I know I'll have something to look forward to when I return. I leave you all with the reassurance that my wrist is not bare. Cheers..!!

Better off this way: more excitement when you get home off the Disney rush plus less distractions.
