Actually the East Village is about 5 blocks away from the Meat Packing district.

Actually - they are avenues - and it's a LONG walk from the meatpacking district to the east village. Seeing as I live in NYC and in one of those areas, and don't need to look up on a map - I can tell you - they are a GOOD distance apart.

Even if you believe the story - and I have my doubts - having evidence that she lied about her location is a far cry from proving infidelity.

Brother since you live there you know one district isn't just a building at a specific location. They are areas comprising several square blocks. Both districts are that way. You know that. She and her friend could have very well have gone from her place in the village to some bar in the meat district.

So generally speaking they are pretty close together.
And who said anything about walking ? The guys wife said she was in a cab.

You do know there are a lot of cabs in NYC.

I'm happy you live there.

I've been there several times. My mother was born and lived there as was my brother. So I know a bit about NYC also.

She is rich but also a meat packer? Hmmmz

----------

Also, she clearly admitted to cheating in the text when she told you she was packing some meat.

This is probably one of the most interesting stories since last year when a guy got his iPhone stolen from a girl only to have her add him on Facebook! Fake or not, it doesn't mean this isn't happening out there right now. You can deny his story, but let's not be gullible to think there isn't cheating in marriage. At least we know FMF works.

Link to that?

Let's hope his wife doesn't read 9to5Mac or any other apple related tech site... He hasn't confronted her yet and their message is splashed everywhere

I'm not saying she couldn't have. I'm responding to what the OP was "reporting." - And there seems to have been a bit of misreporting there which makes me believe it's bogus. You know - how some people post something and then several pages later they contradict themselves without even realizing it and insist they never said X.. My .02 - the story seems somewhat manufactured. And even if it wasn't - there's no evidence of cheating. There's only evidence that she lied about where she was.

It's also JUST as possible - as you suggest that she WAS with her friend in the East Village and they decided to hit a bar on the UES and she just didn't want to tell him. We don't know her side of the story.

There are a million an one scenarios. All the OP has is a time and location and lie.

You didn't have to wait so long to find out on her cheating. Find my iphone does the same thing.

I got my wife a new 4s and loaded up find my friends without her knowing. She told me she was at her friends house in the east village. I've had suspicions about her meeting this guy who live uptown. Lo and behold, Find my Friends has her right there.

I just texted her asking where she was and the dumb b!otch said she was on 10th Street!! Thank you Apple, thank you App Store, thank you all. These beautiful treasure trove of screen shots going to play well when I meet her a$$ at the lawyer's office in a few weeks.

thankfully, she's the rich one.

Now that you know she's lying, hire a PI to follow her and get actual proof of cheating (pictures). Screenshots of your FMF screen aren't going to help you unfortunately. She could say she was just meeting the guy as friends.

I know you were being sarcastic but actually its not that rare.

I do think it would be quite rare to join an Apple forum just to post that you think your wife is cheating on you, but that's just me. It would be the last thing on my mind.

I agree sam. As for me ?

I think it's BS.

I think it's bs too, much too convenient 24 hours after Find My Friends goes live.

Nobody cares what you think.

Nor what you think.

Trolling takes it to next level

Agreed. A good troll to get attention, and it worked.

These screenshots aren't a silver bullet in court. You should tell your wife you're going out of town for a few days and have a private investigator follow her and make vids of her activities.

You know why I don't believe the story?

Because it's too "good". It plays right into the hands of what everyone is talking about could happen with FMF in a way that is exciting for people (ha ha, look that woman got pwned!). It's just perfect enough to be believable without being too far out in the realm of fantasy to start making people question it. And it is amusing enough for people to want it to be real.

It's like seeing those stories where some one is so stupid that it is hard not to laugh at him/her or flame him/her. Stupid but yet funny enough to be like, "Wow, I can't believe (and yet I can) the stupidity" but not so stupid to be completely unbelievable where people go, "Don't believe it. Go away troll". One of the best I saw was a thread where a guy claimed he accidentally put NOS the energy drink into his motorcycle and played innocent that he thought it was the other kind of NOS (he posted a pic of the soft drink and was griping about how the NOS product made his motorcycle run badly)... even playing it up the stupid to people when he replied back, acting completely oblivious. It worked too, it got passed around a whole bunch of motorcycle forums, people had way too much fun flaming him and laughing at him, and in the end it was proved he was just trolling everyone (and it took pages for anyone to start bringing up that possibility, it was just too good a thread people didn't want to believe it was fake.

That and has the OP even responded back at all to this thread? I suspect he's just laughing at all the responses.

As a reader, I just look at it as entertainment similar to movies or reality TV shows. I don't need to sit down and say everything is staged. Entertainment is entertainment, fiction or non-fiction. You read a good novel, same thing.

But for the OP, I suggest to call Joey Greco from Cheaters. Whether some people want to defend his wife's action or not, it sucks being lied to. If she isn't cheating, then what's the point of her lying? Just hire Joey Greco and see what's up. Then the OP can have a much bigger audience than MR and publicly humiliate her and her possible secret lover on TV.
