you mean this one?
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1194

it IS compatible with fx3.
Wow, thanks clevin, (I bet you're busy today, huh?).

Upon installation, it told me that my calculator wasn't compatible with the new version and asked me if I wanted to search for an updated version of the calculator. It told me there wasn't anything like that available. I guess I shouldn't have assumed that part was totally accurate.

Thanks again.:p

the version should be 1.1.12, is it right in your addon manager?

It works fine on my firefox 3...

I'm used to the polished look of Safari and Camino's simple design. FF3 so far looks too noisy.

Yes, works perfectly. My bad, I should've read on instead of assuming. You saved my ass, many thanks.

Now I really wish I could get my theme back, glowywine, but that appears impossible at the moment. That small detail won't make me go back though. I'm updating FireFTP now.

I've got it DLed, but I'm going to wait a week or so before moving to it so that all of my add-ons will be updated. Can't wait!

I think problems for minimalists like myself come in places like the circled bits:

I will concede that FF3 has come leaps and bounds in mac-ish-ness, and that really is my main problem with it, but there are still annoying inconsistencies. Since the early betas I have pointed out that pressing the button circled below should (and it even does in Camino) go from Icons->Small icons->Text.

When I press the green (+) button Firefox goes full screen... is this just me or is it a 'feature'?

this is same behavior of firefox on all platforms, there is a bug report about making it "auto-zoom" on mac, but is not yet planned or done.

I downloaded it to both my iMac and PB but i gotta say Safari is still my browser of choice. No doubt FF3 is a much better browser than 2 but not better than Safari 3.1 for me.

Safari is noticeably slower and its tabbed browsing is awful. Firefox 3 is awesome. Not a problem yet knock on wood.

Just swapped from Safari, and cruising nicely. I like having Wikipedia search up in the right corner, where it should be, and the Awesome Bar is, quite.

Looking good.

Wow, a Firefox version that is actually Mac friendly. I love it!!

I downloaded FF3 at work for my Windows PC and at home for my Mac. There is actually a visual style difference and I have to say Windows got the shaft this time around. FF3 on Mac just owns.
