Hmm did for people who had RC2 did you have 3.0 automatically without having to download it? I didn't do anything and it seems to me that I have final 3.0 now.

I'm confused

you will be able to update from RC2 to final.

right now people jut rushing to download the full package to help mozilla set the world record.

Running version 3. All my add-ons are broken, including Adblock. Argh. I'll probably switch back to version 2 for a while.

To tell the truth,i like it's new interface!!!

It kinda cool!!I may be using firefox a bit more now!!!;)

try adblock+.

Actually I am, along with Filterset.G. I'm guessing the version I'm on isn't compatible and I can't upgrade due to the heavy traffic. Even attempting to go to addons.mozilla.org is fruitless at the moment. Eh well.

And finally I have 3.0 on both work Windows box and my Macbook. Will get 3.0 onto the Mini at home tonight.

I think I can get used to the new layout. What I don't like is the generic gray interface on the Mac version. I hope some good themes come out. I'd like to see the Noia theme come out with 3.0 support.

Adblock Plus is FF3 compatible. Have you tried updating using the built in add-on updater of FF3?

You could also manually do it from its website: http://adblockplus.org/en/installation

Initial Impressions (On Windows)

My first observations on Firefox 3 on Windows (I'm mac-less at work)

1. Feels snappier :p
2. Hate the "awesome bar" so I changed it back to it's old behavior
3. The forums over at TUAW scroll choppily now.
4. My IE tab extension doesn't work anymore (I have to use IE on my company's website. Yes, my life sucks)

I am using FF3 and IETab is working fine for me.. check to make sure there is not an update for it, as there was when I upgraded today
