Craig was right: Apple is being ruled by Marketing now. Congrats Drake, but I'd rather have different news from Apple, who has just become a music publisher, losing its credibility as a computer industry. But then again, they are also a bank...

Helped him with the production of the music? Huh? This was executive produced by 40, just as all of Drake's albums have been. There are fewer collaborators on this album than pretty much any prior Drake album.

You think showing up awkwardly on stage at an Apple Keynote for 10 minutes gave him an unfair advantage to get one billion streams?

His music and album are in every playlist because the album sold 1.2M first week, has a #1 and #2 single, and is what the people want to hear.

Give credit where credit is due.
It's people being upset at Drake because he's rich, famous, and they don't like his music. They mask it in whatever nonsense drivel they can come up and it shows they have no idea what they're talking.

Unless they found a way to reanimate Brahms or Stravinsky - I could care less about exclusives. I remember when Apple sold itself - not this new pandering to the flavor of the month.

The flavor of the month has been making music for 10 years now; but sure, believe what warped things you want to believe.

I have never and will never stream one byte of Drake or whatever stupid name he is called. New music is nothing but noise to me now when I think it can't get worse the following year it does.

1,000,000,000 streams / 15,000,000 Apple music subscribers = an average of 67 streams per user over the course of 149 days since the release of Views. Yeah, right...

Maybe the billion counts streams of the songs from the album? With twenty songs on the album that would average about three listens per user which is much more plausible.

The future of Apple becomes clearer every day ... phones, watches, and Apple Music.

I've been using Apple computers for 30 years, but if they had simply stuck to computers they'd be a best irrelevant, and at worst a footnote in computer history. The iPod and iPhone are why you can still buy a Mac today.

Wake me up when Apple Music stops focusing & promoting silly hiphop/rap and the like of wannabe gangstas like Drake...

Yes, that notorious gangsta rapper Elton John.

Two posts about Drake within a few hours? Maybe Drake will be the new Pokemon Go on MacRumors! Maybe he'll make an app next, or Apple will release some special edition Drake AirPods. Maybe he'll be on that new show about apps that Apple is producing. Or possibly featured in Carpool Karaoke with Craig Federighi at the Mac/iPad Pro/Apple TV 4K/Siri Box Thingy keynote next month. The possibilities are endless, but there is one thing I know for sure: I can't wait for more DrakeRumors!
