You must be getting old!
I am 39 years old. So yes I am old and remember when music was good and no I don't want to hear my older parental did not like my music. They do. My uncle likes Bon Jovi which was a shock. But today's music is just noise with the "rare" exception of singers like Adele which my whole family likes which sings the old style music.

Doesn't Tim Cook remind you of this kid?

They do dance the same

This is amazing. Thanks.

Music is still good but just different. It's who appreciates it. BTW, love me some Adele but there are others just as good or better.

I'm 37 and I love new music. Shazam is one of my most-used iPhone apps. There's plenty of good music these days, just like there was plenty of terrible music "back in the day".

This is silly...
They pretty much helped him with the production of the music / videos, etc. and he was a spokesperson when Apple Music was announced. His music and album was plastered in every playlist, chart, recommendation, radio and cramped into any possible corner of Apple Music...
Unfair & meaningless statistic IMO.

Not to mention ... when does Apple put market share (hits) ahead of product quality? Seems to be a double-standard going on here...

But congrats to a fellow Canadian!

Is that 1 billion unique streams?

Good question. When does a stream qualify as a counted "stream"? 10 seconds into it? 30 seconds? One minute?

You forgot to add that he sucks at making music and Is awesome at trash talking. He should stick to trash talking because he music is trash.

I am 35 and believe me, music is as good as it ever was and as a bonus we have way more of it to choose from. Hope the next four years doesn't turn me into you.

Considering every other song played on beats 1 is from his new album, they pretty much forced it down peoples throats.
