Woohoo! My fedex notification has changed... looks like I WILL be getting it tommorrow. It seems so unreal considering the long wait time. I now hope that Apple makes that August 30th date for everyone else! From the looks of things they will, but we'll see.

Great news!
Both of our powermacs should have been in the first batch but now that I think about it I'm glad they weren't.... We could've ended up with faulty CPUs and the wait would have been even longer!

That's true... let's hope mine is "flawless"!
One thing I noticed (and this is something to take up with Apple AFTER I have the computer in my hands) is that they charged me full price and apparently didn't take $100 off like they said they would. Good thing I have a book full of notes from calls!
Honestly, I'm just glad it shipped!

My reseller here in Helsinki called, they received a shipment notification from Apple! I have to wait for almost a week until it arrives - but hey, it's finally coming!

Just got a call from my reseller in London...
Finally, my CTO order from 14th June has shipped from Cork today!!!!!!!

Ironically (well what else) I won't be able to pick it up straight away because of a brief getaway break, but I will have it delivered for the day I return!
Can't wait!! - hopefully this and the posts above indicate that Apple will have finally caught up with their huge backlog!?

Funny, I thought people might have picked up on the fact that I had a shipping confirmation from a UK Reseller yesterday, but nobody did!

Had to drive 80 miles to the Fed-Ex facility to pick it up, but it is here and running well. The fans have only kicked in a few times, mainly when installing apps. No tasking project has been done yet.
The highest I have seen the CPU monitor is 78%, and it did not stay there but just a second or two at the most. If I had it to do all over agian I might would have considerd more ram, not that I have needed it yet.
Anyway it is here finaly!

Just received a call from apple... They apologized and told me that my order was being delayed even further (to the 13th of sep). They also gave me some rather unexpected news... £150 off my next order with Apple store... Hmm Funny... I feel an Airport Extreme coming this way for £40

Well, apparently european resellers are getting their machines now. Even helsinki has one.
Soon I'll be the only one (together with ge4-ce and macetaria) who didn't get ours from the reseller.. Maybe because we are from such a small country (belgium)

Yeah... I just crave the astonishing power of the GeForce...
I ordered the 23" as well, which hopefully is going to ship sometime within the next couple weeks...
Can't wait to get this monster up and running with some HEAVY Logic Pro sequencing... It's going to be amazing...

Hi, I got the same, but you can apply to your existing order if you want. What they should have done was give you £150 off the current order and £300 towards future goods... That I would have gone for. Instead I just applied it to my existing order.

I order on July 15th stock 2.5ghz. I did order off there corporate site. I have ordered probably 6 computers and a Canon 1D markII from them. As well as lots of software, memory, etc. They seem to give priority to there corporate customers. I did call on Tuesday to check on a delivery date and they said they were getting 139 in on Wednesday and would make sure I got one. Have no idea where I was on there list. Got about a 5% discount off the normal price too. They use to give 10%.
