knowing a thing or two about patents.. figues or descriptions are not meant to be indicative of the product other than to give an example of the invention. i would assume that this example is not indicative of a final product that looks much like this.

Apple and IBM have done a bloody good job of misinformation... its not really manufacturing shortages. Nope... Thats what they would just like us to believe.

1.8Ghz, 2.0Ghz and 2.5 Ghz.
All models Liquid cooled, of course. Unfortunately the 12" will stay as G4.. unfortunately the combination of 90nm G5 and Liquid cooling are not sufficient.
Unfortunately they are not 1" thick anymore.. but about the thickness of an iBook. I think we can forgive Apple for that.

i didn't work on the commercial, i just worked with a person who did. and we had a little discussion about it. if a stream were to be available, that would have to be a leak at a post production house, and i doubt anyone would risk a $$$$$ of it on pissing of the client and/or getting fired. if i had worked on the commercial, i probably wouldn't be saying anything because of legal reasons. maybe a newbie, but lurker long time.

That has to be the goofiest thing to ever march out of Cupertino. If this isn't a smoke screen then I will personally mail Jonathan Ives a bucket of chum.

Apple is just covering their the base so that a PC company can't come out with a dual arm version.
lol i like all these posts from ppl who jut read the first post and read about ppl arguing about the arists rendition or the 2 arms and are responding to that, ithink were pretty much past that lol

Even though im not in the market... i am anticipating seeing something good with the imac line. it needs it. and no offense, but im starting to think that the iMac department inside apple is either fast asleep. Unless of course , they pull of something that can only be described as apple. But PLEASE apple, don't make a pyramid. a scroll wheel is circular, and a apple is curved. no straight lines. hopefully we wont be using an ancient form of a calendar (egyptians) for a new comp. we already have ical! But~ if it has some kick butt processor or a teleporter to a different dimension, im in!

why is anyone listening to kontact. that's the most transparent "giving you all everything but the truth so i'll feel better because everyone thinks i'm interesting" crap i've ever seen.
this is the info i have. applejustworks-if you can't have every piece of info you crave and a quicktime of the commercial sent to you, would you rather not have any info? i would think the beans i've spilled would be considered some info, as opposed to just speculation.

Since Steve mentioned that Apple will ANNOUNCE AND SHIP the iMac G5 in September, how can it be announced tomorrow? They surely knew about the conference. Will we have to wait a few weeks? Might tomorrow just be a rehash of iTunes Europe, etc.?????????
