do u guys think mbpro 2008 will cost USD 1990? or 1999?

i don't think the design will be different. Aluminium is the best!

coounting down countinggg down..would it be today?feb or march?

MBP in the United States will continue to cost, US$1999 and in Australia it will continue to cost US$2576!

Why should they put more RAM in MBP than Mac Pro? :rolleyes:
 
I was gonna swap my 17" Mbp for a mb but now I have my iPhone which makes a really good portable web and email browser I might go for another 17" mbp.

I hope the next update is a wow rather than just a pentryn addition
 
They HAVE TO update Macbook Pro already! New case, new keyboard, penryn, magnetic latch and multitouch trackpad! Apple, bring it tonight!
 
As MUCH as I want to walk out of the local Apple Store today with a 17" MBP with Penryn, LED backlighting, etc., I just read a rumor at AppleInsider that makes sense, that Aperture would be announced to coincide with PMA 2008
 
I'd be happy with minor upgrades, to be honest. Just a slight bump to 256MB VRAM on the low-end model and the step to Penryn for less power consumption.

Multi-touch would be awesome of course. Magnetic latch and new keyboard as well. But I'm not that greedy (yet :D ).
 
Well I don't think the store went down or anything but they added the 2.16Ghz MBPs to the US refurb store. Anyone know the latest they take the store down for an update?
 
Please, Apple. I have been waiting for ages. I can't wait any longer. Update NOW.

I just want Penryn and bigger GPU Ram.
