Since the 11 Pro Max screen wasn't so great with scratches, this is welcome news.

My iPhone 11 Pro Max is in a Apple Leather case with no screen protector. Then I put it in a sunglass microfiber pouch. Then it goes in my front pocket. NO keys or change EVER go in that pocket yet the screen still developed hairline scratches.

Putting glass on the back is still absolutely retarded.

Touché, but surely you can understand their position when you consider:
1) Glass maintains the "premium" look and feel of the devices. (Plastic would cheapen it and metal blocks wireless charging.)
2) The vast majority of iPhones wear cases which largely prevent rear glass damage.

That said, I'd be fine with a plastic back. I think they could find a composite material which mimics the Pro's matte glass but doesn't shatter. However, since I use a case, it's somewhat of a non-issue for me.

mobilereviewseh deserves more subs than he has. He puts out good stuff.
Aaron is great! But admit it Aaron, you do it a little bit for fun too!
It’s so good to see that Aaron has fans on MacRumors too! For quite a while now I thought he was just a hidden gem that most iPhone users weren’t aware of. He really does do an excellent job with case and accessory reviews.
Seems to me, which goes completely against what I'm used to, that you're better off laying your device face down than face up to avoid scratches.
I had the same thought. I’ve been wanting to use my iPhone case-less for the past few generations, but some aspect of the design always got in my way. The camera bump’s the the thing that’s been bothering me recently, since if you put your phone down on a surface facing up, the camera bump hits the surface first and the impact always makes me wince (it’s so pronounced). Putting it face down makes it flat against flat, which is much less bothersome.
I'll bite... how?

(side note... the "experience"? gods, the Entitled...)
Entitled? How is someone entitled for not wanting to spend extra on an addition that they find makes their phone feel worse?
