Hey Lorenwade,
Thanks for the reply. I have to be honest with ya though, 90% of my posts have been useless rat droppings. I'm pretty sure I'm posting more useless ***** than anyone else here. I won't stop though. I'm having way to much fun talking to the honest and helpful people on this site.


Ps: was this post a bump? Haha just effing with ya. Thanks again for answering my question.:D

Hahaha. There's a difference between useless rat droppings and childish bickering. I consider useless rat droppings a quality post in comparison.

All joking aside, I usually don't care. :p

Did through Paypal. Either they are overniting me the case, or refunding me the money is what I told them.

I agree. I don't know how this is the biggest "iFail of 2010". LOL. I don't understand what's so "fail" about this case that makes it soo bad. Gives me a good laugh.
 
Some peoples negativity is amazing. Let people decide for themselves if they like it or not. Some people who have never had interest in this case just like to state the negative.

When I have Maps try to find me it's showing my location approximately 5 miles away from where I actually am.

When I remove the case Maps shows me exactly where I am.

Still testing but so far the worries over navigational issues might be substantiated.

I went out to get some food and I had google maps open the whole time to test out gps and I never had an issue withe the blue dot keeping up. Every so often the blue dot did the circles thing (don't know what that means) or if thats just part of the animation.
As for gaming the case does help you hold it better with the bumps.

Edit: opened up google maps to check my location and then zoomed in all the way and the dot shows that I'm outside the room I'm in, off by 10-15 feet.

Wow, that is a really crappy move. So you are trying to jump in front of other people who ordered before you by filing a chargeback and giving them an ultimatum? If I was elementcase would send you a crappy v1 case just for spite. That's really trashy and childish.

How is it trashy? It's horrible they don't answer phone calls, and send a black/red case overnited to mr greenberg but not myself who have probably wanted it more than anyone in the first place. (Even if his was defective)

Well that's a grownup comment. "I wanted it more than anyone, so I deserve it before anyone else." I want a billion dollars more than anyone. Can I have that? No, because this is the real world. Mr. Greenberg is a reviewer and who knows when his order number was. If ElementCase is like any other company, they probably send out units to be reviewed so that news about the product gets spread. We know that EC was trying to fix problems with the first batch. Why wouldn't they fix his problem ASAP?

If you got a V1 and wanted the V2, you would be pretty pissed if they said you had to wait until everyone else had gotten their red/black case until they fixed your order. Such a double standard.

I hope you get your money back NOW, so that you can leave this thread.

Wow, obviously EC has poor quality control for even boxing up his case WITHOUT a friken sleep/wake button in the first place. How that was overlooked is beyond anyone's guess.. And how they have an extra black/red case laying around for him is another good question, I bet that was someone elses order.

Seriously? Have all the people here turned into 12 yr old brats or are most people actually 12 yr old brats? I have never seen so much bickering over a pos that isn't even any good to begin with so what the hell is everyone whining about?

Yes, you are perfect in everything you do. How about Apple when they shipped out iPhone 4s with the volume buttons reversed. How could anyone have missed that.....idiots. Everyone should let Troop231 be their quality control guru. He never messes up anything.

It probably got missed because EC was slapping cases together as fast as they could because people like you keep b*tching.

Wow...childish indeed...How in the world do you know you want this case more than anyone else? Because you post about it a lot :confused:. Besides that's irrelevant. It's a matter of your order in line...you obviously have not come up in that order. You also tried to cheat the system in the first place by not even pre-ordering and just ordering through the website which probably screwed things up.

Asking for a refund is one thing...using it as an ultimatum to the company by trying to sidestep everyone else in front of you is another thing and it's just plain wrong.

Correct, really just a way to get my money back faster so I can buy their updated Vapor case made out of plastic which will look the same, be more shock absorbent, and pass cell signals better.
