Seems some people are putting a bit too much trust into a company that hasn't even put a non rendering picture of this bumper on their site. So they say they'll start shipping on the 12th which was yesterday but yet don't even have one single real picture of actual said product?

To ease your concerns this company is legit. They have ties back into Astro Gaming who supplies the gaming headsets for MLG.
Anyways, the company is based out of San Francisco and hand crafts these things so it takes some time. I ordered a 3G case from them way back when, and it came as advertised. Here are the pictures to show it:

My 3G case came with a allen wrench as you actually had to unscrew two bolts to put the case on. By looking at the Vapor case it looks like it also screws on.
Their cases are very industrial and will turn heads but like all good things, they take time to craft so hang in there, im sure they are working on your cases as we read this forum.

psychonaut this is good to see & hear. Thanks for the info. I for one am not holding it against Element in forcing the logo upon us, they could no doubt use the advertising. It really is to their advantage.

Nope, does not fit in pocket. It was a nice novelty case for a while and it got a lot of attention at a prior E3 Expo that I attended however now day's it just sits as a momento.
I've been debating contacting Cliff Bleszinski to see if he wants it for his collection (free of course).
It was the first and only iPhone case I have owned that I had to screw on. Like I say, these things feel very "industrial" which is pretty cool in my book.
I don't doubt the company is real and that they plan to sell the case, but there is no way I would buy something that expensive without seeing an actual picture of it first, instead of just renderings.

Well, at least for me, I think the Apple Bumper looks no better than the Hong Kong made cases that sell for about $5.00 shipped on Ebay. The bumper completely kills the beautiful industral design of the iPhone 4, whereas the Vapor at least looks to be worth something close to its asking price and complements the deisgn of the iPhone 4. Again, IMO.
I will say, I have held off on oredring one so far though, but only barely as this case makes me drool.
