element bumper "vapor"

Having a no logo option should be standard, because it's easier to not have to engrave it. Idk what they're smoking.
 
Anyone get a shipping notification yet? Today was supposed to be D day for first batch shipments.
 
I think that what people have found out is that calling them works much better than email. I haven't heard of many email responses. I have heard of quite a few people talking to them on the phone. Try that route.
 
Got an email...

I received an email from the folks at Element Case it says "The status of order #[order number redacted] is now Awaiting Fulfillment" :confused:

Anyone know what that means?

Welcome to the party lol. That's the status of my order too, and I ordered on the 4th of July. I think it means they are ready to begin making your case.

Just call them and ask for them to update your order to not include the logo. They're not going to tell you "no". I and several other people have done this and they have been very accommodating. Don't ask - "tell".

No Confirmation / Notification yet BUT, I see my C/C has been tapped by element today (12July) for the Vapor charges. I hope this turns out to be good news :rolleyes:.

While $80 is pricey, it's aesthetically pleasing. I'm interested in this and will wait to see what Apple's response is regarding signal issue. If they say that the bumper is the only possible solution, then I'll get the element vapor even if Apple is giving out free bumpers. I just don't like plastic on my $800 phone.

When are they gonna post pics of the other colors? Or even a pic of the front with the case on?

Considering the other product pages on their website, probably never. Which is quite ridiculous for a presumably high end product.

Not sure about the US, but online retailers here in the UK are required to provide an up-to-date photo/image that represents the exact product that is being sold (or notify the customer if the photo is out of date). All we have so far is a bunch of 3D renders that look completely different than one another (e.g. one covers the noise cancelling mic, another doesn't!). That is illegal in the UK. Even if it was legal, it is still unbelievably unprofessional.
 
I just got off the phone with Element Case and was told that ALL Vapors will be branded. So with that being said you cannot call or request to get a case with NO logo.

Told you guys. So far this company seems very shady. I'm so glad I held off on ordering one.

I'm not really sure if that means any good news, as my card was charged the day after I pre-ordered (July 4th), and there's been no shipping notice yet.
