I get $30 back on my iPhone bumper so now the Vapor is only $50!

Will be getting one soon!

Not sure about carbon back though....will wait to see some pics/reviews.

It's still $80 out of your pocket. Now get a bumper for free then sell it and we'll talk

They'll take it off if you ask.

That's great! I'll look into them. I wonder though if it offers better protection from drops than a regular case or even the Apple bumper. I would assume that plastic would offer better shock protection than something much more solid like metal. It seems that if the phone were to drop with this case, all of the impact would be transferred to the phone itself.

You got your Vapor 4 after a week?

And I am the new Pope.

And you need to learn how to read and follow a message board thread.

See where I said PHONES? That insinuates that I am referring to iPhones, which was the subject of the coversation that I quoted.

Satirev indicated that Troop was naive (although to be fair he didn't use that word) for thinking he'd get his phone that he just ordered in a little over a week. I posted the order experience that I just had to show that his shipping estimate probably isn't that far off.

So take your sarcasm somewhere else.

you clearly never took an economics course...

why? For those that already bought the bumper apple is giving refunds. That was $30 he thought was originally a sunk cost, but now he can just pocket it and put it toward the vapor. It's not that unreasonable for him to say that.

obviously you have never taken an economics course either. he bought a bumper and now hes getting a refund. great, hes even. the vapor case is STILL 80 dollars. not $50....thats like going to the store to buy a $50 dollar video game, returning it, and then being like YES!!! I GOT A FREE $50 DOLLARS TO BUY ANYTHING I WANT!!!

Every time I check this thread, the picture below comes to mind. geez.

No **** Sherlock. He is not saying it's not still $80. The point is that he has $30 that he did Not think he would have to put toward the case now, so it feels like he is only spending $50. Obviously he had previously spent $30 to get the bumper. He was excited and made a statement...no need to insult somone over something so silly

From their site:

The inside of the Vapor case is lined with a very high tech shock absorbing material that reduces the G-forces of an impact. It also creates
a non-conductive barrier to help maintain the iPhone's antenna signal strength.

same to you buddy

Any photos of this case besides the sideways corner edge at an angle? Want to see how big this case actually is..

That case will be a problem if you don't have a straight jack plug casing on your headphones!!

other than that the silver one looks amazing!!

Except that when you return the game, you no longer have the game. A better analogy would be if you bought the game for $50, returned to the store which refunded you the $50 while allowing you to KEEP the game, and then used those $50 for another game. You gained something.

again, youre wrong. apple has brought the value of a bumper down to $0 now that they are free.
