Thanks very much for the info.

No, worries man. All you can do is order it.Like anything else, if it's real you will get it. If it's not, do a charge back. If you hate it send it back. I think that when this thing really hits the market the demand is going to jump making it even harder to get one. Like I said before if it looks half as good as the pics than the gizmo review sites are going to post reviews that will really get attention. It's already gotten loads of press and no one has ever seen one in person.

definitely a render... what kind of surface is that with such a precise reflection?

looks like a pretty standard reflection off of glass to me...

You may want to adjust your foil hat... Seriously what is it with some of you guys and these conspiracy theories??? lol, none of this is even a big deal and yet some of you continue to try and make a big scandal out of this. (Yes i'm looking at you johnnybgood15...quit your uncalled for trolling already)

Done with may IP4 in my office with a random piece of dirty glass from an old picture frame, piece of tissue paper and a black scratched plastic file separator. With no photo editing at all

This is all about form over function. A good commentary on how people see what they want to see. It's a sexy damn case, but no one wants to look beyond that. Did you look at the reviews for aluminum cases as I suggested? Did you read about signal problems? No, doesn't look like anyone wants to. Just, Wow! Looks hot! Here's my $100 bucks. It's like the elephant in the room.

And...which side of the argument are you trying to prove? :D

I am totally for the case. I have one on order and I am waiting for it as long as it takes. I am just saying it is not that hard to set up a small back drop and create a nice picture to advertise with.

Great...I'm interested to know why you think that big chunk of aluminum wrapped around the antenna won't block your cell signal.

Ausvid, quit trolling. Bigred doesn't like you bringing up valid arguments, just wants money taken with no product provided. LOL

I'm trying to be respectful. Not calling anyone names or that they're an "idiot". I'm not claiming to have the answers. I ask questions because others may have some insights that I don't have.

I read a great article on Trolls the other day.

Studies show that when a troll moves out of their parents basement in search of a mate their trolling activities drop by 95%. Also their need to squawk about anything and everything that doesn't concern them becomes almost non existent.

The real challenge, researchers say is actually finding them mates.
But there is hope.

I am not saying it wont but seems to me that since it is insulated and is around and not on the back or front the signal would seem to be able to go in or out still. I really dont think it will be a big enough problem to be an issue. If it is there will be alot of people returning them im sure.

That may well be the case (no pun intended). However, I, like ausvid, did some searching on aluminum cases for the iPhone and several showed signal dropping - and this was *before* iOs 4.01. iOS 4.01 has changed the game a lot from last year and a so-so marginally good signal could quite easily still show 5 bars then. For example, my 3G before would show 5 bars in my apartment. Now, it moves around from 2-3.

So if no bars are lost no matter the signal strength with 4.01, and the fit and finish is good then this case will, for me, be a great buy.

It's been sold out even before they manufactured a single unit. Now that's what i call marketing.

More like they were the only one who had a semi-decent case. I've ordered a Vaja case so either way I'm getting a case, so whoever gets to my house first gets my money. If both aren't here in September then I'm canceling both orders.

My understanding is that if your fingers touch the outside antenna it attenuates the signal. That is the reason for insulating the case...to prevent finger-touch attenuation where you are essentially shorting out the antenna. Keep in mind the antenna is around the outside edge of the phone only, front and back don't count. My concern is with the material itself... looks pretty thick for durability..blocking the radio waves.

I understand what your saying but it kinda doesn't make sense. If you have a case around your phone antenna the RF may not go through the case but it still can go through the phone and out the glass on the front or backside of the phone. The 3gs antenna were inside the phone and the RF went through the phone out. Why would it be any different here. The whole phone would have to be encased to totally block RF

I suppose some RF could come through the glass part of the phone and somehow get bounced up into the bottom of the antenna... does that seem like an optimal situation for making calls though?

New Email Today

Good news for Vapor Pre-order Customers:

First, thank you for your patience while we retooled our shop and waited for Apple's announcement regarding the antenna issue.
Before accepting more Vapor orders, we wanted to be sure that Apple was not going to recall the iPhone 4. During this wait, we retooled our manufacturing facilities and are now back in production of Vapor cases at an accelerated rate! With the exception of Pre-order Groups 1 and 2, orders will be received ahead of schedule. More colors will be available when your pre-order is ready to process. We will also offer replacement parts in a variety of colors beginning in August.
To order your Vapor case, wait for an email from us notifying you that it is time to place your order. At that time, you can view the latest color offerings and make your selection. We will release new colors throughout July and August.
All early pre-orders that have not shipped will be shipped next week. We expect all remaining pre-orders to ship by mid August. Some will ship sooner.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Regards,
