I don't see where to order one ... was there a link in the email? Please PM. :)

Yeah your suppose to use the coupon code "JULYPREORDER". Gives you a whopping 1% off, at least give us free shipping.

1% off? really...wonder if it was supposed to be 10%.

I think I just may have to order one of these...though I don't like that it says Vapor on the side. I just would have to not quite be honest about how much it costs to the wife! :)

The coupon code is the preorder code. Without JULYPREORDER your preorder will ship in August not July.

I just placed my order for a Black/Black with no Carbon back. Will post pics when it comes.

I really like the case but use the tom-tom car kit. Do those with cases just use regular car chargers?

Coming from someone who owns an old wrangler. Torx are the devil. Allen are much harder to strip if you use the right size. I'm sure they will include an allen wrench with the case.

Old CJ owner ;) and TORX BOLTS SUCK!!!!!! I'd say keep the Allen bolts. And yeah I do like this case red and black with the carbon back!!!! Let's get some reviews

Supposedly they check your name and email and it has to match their preorder list, but if you didn't preorder you could try anyway... I'm betting thousands signed up for the preorder originally and not many will follow through with actually paying by the end of Monday...

Awesome! Thanks for the link :) I just ordered a black/red one with the carbon back, and I dont even have the phone yet lol.

I registered for pre-order Thursday but never got anything.
Oh well. I'm not about to blindly order a case when I haven't seen it from all angles. Plus, I'd really like it without the logo. Can't wait to see some reviews!

IMO, I really think this is the best case for quality/build and looks. I'm sure it will be a good conversation piece lol.

80$ for an aluminum bumper that you'll probably get sick of in the first month and switch to another case? I know I've got case ADD, and I'm sure many of you do. For 80$ I can pick up 3-4 iPhone 4 cases that I can constantly switch around on. Furthermore, if FiveBelow gets iPhone 4 cases that's ~16 cases for the iPhone 4 :O

If only that logo was not WHITE....I don't mind it engraved and if it's small.
But it does look slick; like a racing car.

riiight, enjoy your 16 cheapo cases

It's nice, but in the renders seems to make the iPhone look much larger than it really is. I have bulky cases.

Agree. It does appear to rather exaggerate the bulkiness of the iPhone 4.

In this case, I would wait for actual reviews before jumping on the bandwagon. ElementCASE apparently seems to employ what Apple (and a few others) exploits off from the customers. Building up a customer base that will drool over a couple of photoshoped pictures and allowing customers to preorder, but only for a limited number of available cases. Hope this ordeal doesn't turn out to be sour in the end (like the iPhone 4 reception saga).

Perhaps, but quantity =/ quality. You get what you pay for, getting 16 cases that cost $5 isn't going to make them very good quality.

In a weak moment i ordered this case. I am hopeful that it can be used with third party line out cables and such as i frequently use a portable amp with my phone and need a quality line out capability. Can't tell if it will work without an adaptor for my earphones though, and I hope it won't be too bulky overall!!

I ordered mine in Pink so it should be snazzy. Can't for the life of me figure out when this will ship. It says sold out for the July 12 shipment and that others will ship in august but in other places it says this preorder will ship in July. Can anyone figurer out what they are trying to say on their website?

Anyway my order is confirmed and awaiting fulfillment according to them.

Maybe chrysler uses crappy bolts, i've never has a problem with torx on my bimmer. But if you really don't want the tiny bolts on the case to strip, might as well replace them with a Bristol spline!

Faraday cage bit is a valid concern. Even if it is separated by "space age shock absorber" - the gap is small, and the metal surrounds the entire phone.

Do you have an iPhone 4? Put a rubber band around it, then wrap a layer of tinfoil around the phone covering the same area as that case will. Let me know how it works out.

As for the Torx bit - fact is - with that size, Torx IS stronger, and less prone to stripping out the head.

Maybe it's just hard to tell from the pictures but I don't like how the case is different on both sides of the phone. It looks like the left side of the phone is smooth around the edges like a bumper while the right side comes out at both the top and bottom edges before going back into the phone's edge, creating two annoying bumps on the side of the case.

The bumps are there for the screws.

so a couple of questions..

the material of this case is aluminum? Won't that end up denting easily if dropped onto a hard surface?

Also, has anyone else besides me sent an email asking if they will offer this case without the obnoxious vapor logo on the side? any responses?

What color is this? black/black, black/silver or silver/silver?
