eh, I thought vapor was sweet, but its a billion dollars, and I'd rather get otterbox on my phone. I still dont understand if the vapor is safe enough. Its just adding more weight to the phone and have it blow up. :rolleyes:

And yes I signed up on this site just to stay followed up with this thread. I've been deleting and adding new bookmarks everyday, when I saw this thing blow up about 6 pages earlier today I was sadly disappointed by what followed, but I'm optimistic about these showing up.
 
omg i got the case in the mail AT MIDNIGHT. the mailman had to get a rake off layaway at a wal-mart a whole state away. Of course me being the last stop, he decided to tie up the loose end before delivering.

anyways, i cant take any pictures right now because my camera lens turned into cheese and my sister was making burritos. well after we ate, we took some beano because of flatulence. good news though i took a picture with this 1842 camera i found in my auntie in law's panty drawer. I poured some gun powder in the flash mechanism, but i dont know if it came out right, my auntie is in the ER but i think i got the pic. i will upload it to my match.com account and link you guys later...maybe....

Apparently this case is living upto it's name. It's like vapor! On the other hand I have this wierd feeling that I am beginning to enjoy Rick roll.. No thanks to this thread.
 
So I sent element case this email just to see what kind of reply I would get and this is it.

On the Vapor page, there is one real shot of the Vapor case (in silver)..also, we just sent an email today to alot of pre-ordered customers..the email had another real shot of the blk/silver Vapor case.

Once we can catch our breathe..we'll update the site with all new images of the actual case.

Wow. What a jerk!!! I can't believe he said that. He was very rude. I still love the case more than I dislike that guy, so I'm still getting it. :D
 
Sure does sound like a jerk, Funny how he says he just got cases from the manufacturer. I thought they were the ones that shut down to ramp up their own production.

Wow! The lying continues. They have a you need us more than we need you attitude. I sincerely hope these cases and this company fails miserably.

And nobody here or any bloggers for that matter have yet recieved a case or were part of the first wave of shipments. You think some legit person would have done a review or posted pictures already. Let's just hope we are really part of the 2nd wave, and we start getting shipment notifications on Monday.

Once they "catch their breath" they will update their website? Must be a really amazing company if they don't have 5 minutes for someone to throw up some new pictures of their biggest product... EVER.

At least he didn't say he WOULD CANCEL your order. ..then he'd be a real jerk but it does sound like he's offering some pretty truthful information on what EC is going through.
 
hey guys, I'm new to this forum...I just want to know why all the hate or just real ****** attitudes about EC? Haven't you guys seen their products and reviews in the past? What makes you think they're not legit when they've had products reviewed in the past? I mean, I registered for the Vapor case and don't mind waiting. I've bought their products in the past and was very pleased with them.

What happens when the Vapor does come out and they arrive at your door? Will it change your attitude? You guys really all sound like a bunch of wussies if anything. Give me this, give me that, I want this.. I want that..waaaahhhh.

I mean common..aren't there any grownups on this site that have anything intelligent to say other than smarta$$ remarks or instigating trouble or slander?

Especially when these guys had their stuff on Gizmodo..would you think scammers would be in the limelight on such high profile blog sites? wouldn't that just expose their scam? I don't know guys...grow up..it's just a case. (albeit an expensive case).

You say grow up it's just a case.... an expensive case that people have already thrown their money down on. Money came out fast, information from EC has not. Don't you think it's a good idea for a company, especially one that is charging $80 for a case, to be a little more up front with their paying customer? Don't you think they should be a little more polite when they e-mail a customer? They say they had to re-tool their machines yet received a shipment from their supplier? Not saying they aren't real cases, just saying their customer service is total ***** with an attitude to match.

Yea the guy seems arrogant but the blk/silver picture made me change my order. The extra lead time better be worth it

You can't have your cake and eat it too. You knew that you preordering a product and yes they did give a ship date. But those dates slip all the time....ahem, like white iPhones. If you don't like it, cancel your order. It's only $80, not the end of the world. If $80 is breaking your bank then you shouldn't be able to afford the cost of an iphone/service either.

come on, it's not about the money :) This is the best case for us who are constantly here. I know I really like it and I know how it's gonna look and protect my iPhone. I don't want some cheap plastic...

Oh i agree. I am super stoked to get my hands on this case. I guess I am just a little more patient. Walking around with a Switcheasy Nude on it now. I'm used to waiting on high end cases like Vaja, etc.

+1. Their responses haven't always come fast but they have replied to all of my emails with questions about my order. Let's see why happens next week.

Well, the end of July is next week, so I better have my black/red case shipped by then :rolleyes: Such a pain in the ass so far.
