I didn't think their email was arrogant. The guy just sounds frustrated, that's all. Can't say I blame him. Just about every case company is backordered these days but they're not getting the grief this company is getting. Except maybe for ivy skins!

+1. Their responses haven't always come fast but they have replied to all of my emails with questions about my order. Let's see what happens next week.
 
hey guys, I'm new to this forum...I just want to know why all the hate or just real ****** attitudes about EC? Haven't you guys seen their products and reviews in the past? What makes you think they're not legit when they've had products reviewed in the past? I mean, I registered for the Vapor case and don't mind waiting. I've bought their products in the past and was very pleased with them.

What happens when the Vapor does come out and they arrive at your door? Will it change your attitude? You guys really all sound like a bunch of wussies if anything. Give me this, give me that, I want this.. I want that..waaaahhhh.

I mean common..aren't there any grownups on this site that have anything intelligent to say other than smarta$$ remarks or instigating trouble or slander?

I agree with your post. I do feel the email from the company to a customer was kind of over the top. We all know he is frustrated and wants to get the cases out, but needs to be more sensitive to his customers. This could bite him in the future
 
Wow. What a jerk!!! I can't believe he said that. He was very rude. I still love the case more than I dislike that guy, so I'm still getting it. :D

not a jerk at all. whoever wrote the email is a jerk. he said it straight as an arrow and if you don't have faithnin our company he' happy to cancel his order. I'm sure as hell he did not cancel.
 
Wow! The lying continues. They have a you need us more than we need you attitude. I sincerely hope these cases and this company fails miserably.

Funny I don't get that at all here. what I do get is there are some very immature folks on this thread.

Bottom line, don't buy the case and find another thread to concentrate your infantile thoughts and opinions on.
 
I ordered on July 3. When I did, the site said it would be shipping in the near future and it could take up to 3 weeks to receive my purchase after shipping started. My order like everyone else's was a pre order, not an order
Then we were notified that they were shutting down to make adjustments to their processing system. Yesterday we all got an email ( from element )
To give us an update. Why anyone has expected the case earlier is beyond me. They have been
pretty upfront about the wait time. I still contend that no one on the planet has gotten a case yet.
We would have seen it without a doubt. Next week people will get shipping notices for the first batch.

Dont you mean "2nd batch"? Element already told us they shipped out the 1st wave of orders, but yet noone has recieved it, and that's my problem with element. So White/Rhino might be correct in saying people will start getting notices for the "first batch" of orders.

100% agree with you 3goldens. I also thought Elements e-mail respose was professional and to the point.

Personaly I am satisfied with Elements e-mail communications about their production, delivery time tables and pictures (or renders) of their products and have been from the time I placed my order with them.

Patience is a virtue I.M.H.O.
 
I'm just going by e-mails I have gotten from the company directly. No offense to anyone out their who has posed email conversations they have had with element but that's 3rd party info. I'm only putting stock in direct info from the company itself.
Here is a quote from yesterdays email.
"With the exception of Pre-order Groups 1 and 2, orders will be received ahead of schedule". If 1&2 had been shipped they wouldn't have mentioned it in their email. It seems that most of us are groups 1&2 and that's why no one has seen a case. These guys like Apple weren't expecting demand to be this high.
They might have figured on a couple hundred that their little shop could handle and got orders for a few thousand. The 2 guys working their looked at eachother and said "Oh *****, We're going to need a bigger boat"
They aren't producing rubber or plastic.
It's metal and that process is going to require a lot more time. I really like the new pic of the case. I'm looking forward to getting my mitts on one.

Hate comes from the very few trolls who have been ruining this thread for a long time now. The majority are just frustrated. Fair enough, the Element Case guys are clearly overwhelmed by the response and, presumably, have been taking actions to take care of things. That explains the delays.

BUT, what has been making most people frustrated is EC's ridiculous hesitation in providing real photographs of the case. Doesn't have to be the final product. Prototypes, in production, ANYTHING would do at this time. All they've provided so far have been TWO photographs that hardly demonstrate the advertised goodies. They're more like teasers that should have been advertised initially! As for the renders, they too hardly show anything useful. As I said a few pages back, the only logical conclusion for all this is that they've not produced anything yet! Or at least, that's what most people would think because of EC's stupid decision not to post photos.

There is just no way to justify it. Just have a look at Grove bamboo case page on Facebook. They've been updating their customers with photographs in various stages of production. Takes almost zero effort and shows the Element Case guys are either lazier than my girlfriends fugly cat or simply don't care about their customers. Either way, they don't strike me as professional business people.

By saying that they aren't lying because the wording doesn't say we have shipping anything. It just says that the ones that haven't shipped will be shipped next week. ( might be a little sneaky ) I believe that to be all of orders 1 & 2. I believe they are busy and buying time.
We can google it all day and no one can find anyone who has seen anything more than we have. I also think that the review sites will get it in their mail before we do. I've read the blogs and the reviews are just as excited about getting their hands on one as we are. To date their have been no reviews done on this case.

100% correct. These people act like it's a privilege to be their customer. It is a completely legitimate customer question to ask what taking so long. When many people paid 80 for a case that they were repeatedly told would arrive after it shipped July 12th it's ok to question them.

The company has done nothing but lie to customers and appare they don't care about their customers or their money.

For those of you saying the company is right you must be the type who grabs your ankles quite a bit fir companies, just take their word for it.
