element bumper "vapor"

Good gracious!! I remember when this thread first started. I hadn't paid any attention to it since until today when I opened it today to see it has grown to this!!!

I'm not going back to read all the pages but I gather it's not all about how cool the case is.
 
I looking at elements website for actual pictures and I noticed they had a FAQ section. Here are two of my favorites.

What is their idea of "new" condition? I wonder if they'll put some special paint on the screw threads to tell if we've installed it or not..

Yep I'm actually getting bored. Yawn. May just go ahead and order something else while I'm waiting.

Anyway I don't think there will be any news at all until the end of the week at the earliest.

If it were me, I would punt and just get my money back. IF they ever get their act together and produce these bumpers, you can buy them at a later date.
 
You think this is bad you should see the uproar on the Quirky message boards over their iPad case. Not unlike element shortly before the iPads release they debut a case design that many really liked, but it was continuously delayed, they took pre-orders charged peoples cards, and the product apparently is horrible. I'm hoping this will turn out different for you all, or there might be a riot.
 
Bearing in mind quite a few people like this design and the company is either fake and this is a scam or they are too inept to actually produce this product Im surprised some enterprising Chinaman from alibaba.com isn't already making them to satisfy peoples desires.

honestly i don't see how anyone liked that case. it looked ugly from the beginning. -- unlike the vapor. And that was quirky's first stab at an ipad case...unlike element.

I don't have a problem with being patient but I don't like feeling like they aren't being honest with the customers. We have all been told some have been shipped and phase 2 will go out this week. It seems pretty obvious that none have even been sent out. It would just be nice to get a straight and honest answer from them about what is going on.
