I did - about a month or so ago - you can search for it. Everyone then proceed to say "why not just talk about it in this thread". So here we are. 🙂 But anyways if you want to win your argument, sure. Thank you for posting that video. Now if you look around we have been discussing the vapor pro. A video on that would be better 😉

I got an email from someone at Elementcase called "Joe Ercoli" who claims to be a Marketing Manager. In his email, he said he read my post here on macrumors. Are these two the same person?

Even if they are not, Ive already stated my issues in this thread, read them and fix these issues, there is no point discussing it any further via email. ElementCase's customer service record is on this thread, learn from that first before harassing me via email. cheers

EDIT: i dont buy crappy, exorbitantly priced iPhone cases to keep up with the Joneses, lol. I buy a case if it looks good, performs wells and is good value. I gave up keeping up with the Joneses a long time ago, my life as a result, is a happier and healthier.

Yea its real cool to act like you do and let these companies who make these cases do all the R&D work, design work and testing and all that in-tails and you brag about going off and buying a knockoff version of a case and screwing the company who spent all the money to make that case to begin with! I would be proud of that too!! I hope nobody in your family owns a business because then you might actually understand what people are getting at! I work for a huge company that manufactures cell phones and if another person or company sold our design then we go to court and they get sued. That is the way it should be! Do you really think apple would let another company produce a knockoff iphone? Hell no, they will sue you in a heartbeat as they should. I think cell phone case manufacturers are no different except they don't have the money like apple to sue other companies, especially over-sea's companies where its damn near impossible to get it done. Maybe one day when you grow up you will realize what I am trying to say. And this goes for all case makers, if you can't buy the real deal then don't buy a fake, buy something else. Sorry to be short and to the point but that is the way it is!! Buying knockoff's is just wrong, illegal and morally wrong. I feel sorry for these companies like Element, Atomic, E13 and all the others are getting screwed by these scam companies. Its a shame!

Excuse me for this little side comment but IMO the original Atomic is pretty darn close if not an exact knockoff of the Vapor 4 case. i always resented that and didn't give the Atomic the time off day. When they did the hybrid the started to have an original idea so I started to respect them a little.

Looks like e13 and element "copied" or "considered" the hybrid idea from Atomic, no? Perhaps they caught on to the idea that 100% aluminum is an all show no go.

You may be able to argue that but, more realistically, e13 and EC came up with clean sheet designs that solved a technical hurdle instead of recycling the same BS Vapor copy using a different material.

I will hand it to you on the EC but e13 took this and made it metal...

Good customer service? You're having a laugh.. They never replied to my emails since last year...

Also, I'm trying to find out the truth about the signal loss with the new pro?

I've had two AR15-V or whatever it was called, and both killed my GPS signal entirely! Literally, I'm not kidding. It did deduct about 30dB from my GSM/3G signal, but at least I could hold the iphone 4 like any other phone.

I sold both cases within two weeks due to total loss of GPS, and am I the only one? The GPS works great without any case, but not the ar15.

Was it just me having this issue with GPS? Can't be...

And how about the new pro?

Atomic?! They have horrible customer service, possibly worse than element. STF to see all the complaints about how they stop responding when you try to return something.

Also they are a blatantly dishonest company. On their website they claim to be BBB certified but from the link below and there "f" grade you can see that is a lie.

He like said about there cases working hands down probably referring to performance not customer service Which perform better vapor pro or atomic. My spectra pro is useless to me navi wise and drop signal in nyc.

I can't believe this. And they're selling them for $149? In fact, it's surprising that they are selling them at all? Who lets them?

Guilty as charge. I bought 129 not 149 and it is useless. idiot like me who buys falls for great looking case and it not transmitting the signal properly. many people here have good luck with spectra and black os, but not me. or are they in denial who knows.

Some people can't admit it only because its design is very cool and I do like the design, but unfortunately, in my view, element case is taking a piss.

Somebody meant to get back to me few weeks ago with his opinion on the new pro. He never emailed me so I can presume that it didn't go so well 😛

The negativity never ends. Look at this poll https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1163687/. I know these aren't big numbers, but those that took time to vote are not in denial. The vapor 4 didn't help the signal, but the Vapor Pro works really very well.

Yeah (very) small numbers, and also most people are only aware of Element Case, I didn't even know about the existence of those other aluminum cases.
Again, I loved the design, but I'd love to see a poll with a specific issue of cellular/gps signal and how many users are experiencing it and how many are not. I'm talking about the new pro. I'm not fussed about ~5-20 dB loss in cellular signal, at least I can hold the phone comfortably 😛, but the 3G performance was a bit affected.

Anyway, I'd like to see some real answers, perhaps videos?
