Since they are answering your emails ...

See if they will submit a case sample to GearDiary/Larry Greenberg for review testing -- if not, zero credibility, imo.

I've tried emailing them a few times now, and the email address they have listed on the website comes back as invalid each time.

update...again...the element guys got back to me at 12:36PST...36min past the "deadline", they said my new case (black/red) has been sent out and I should have received my tracking information already and if I haven't to let them know and they will send it to me today (cuz last night their system was down for maintenence).

so much fun, never a dull moment with these guys...its the sole reason I wake up everyday...after I get this case I dunno what I'm gonna do with my life. :D

Please post your thoughts on the Rugged when you get a chance. I want to see how a fellow "case whore" feels about it. Post them in the review thread I started about the case if you like.

I sure will. I just unboxed it and took a bunch of pics so people can see what comes in the Combo pack. I've just put the Innocase slider II on so far and I have to say I really like the look and feel of it. The cut outs are very good sizes and easily accessible. The best word to describe it is, substantial but at the same time doesn't add as much bulk as I though. My IPhone really feels protected. Can't imagine how it will feel with the rough kit on.

You are going to do what I did. Keep checking back here out of habit or repetitive stress disorder and buy more cases until the IPhone 5 gets released and we can start all over again. This site is worse than Modern Warfare 2, I just can't put it down.

this just in!!!

they found my case they thought got shipped out last week (case 2 black/red)...it was in the warehouse still, they dropped it at the post office this morning and for all the troubles they gave me a carbon back too...rather nice of them $25 value.

so...now I wait for another email hopefully with a proper tracking number

W/R Case-Junkie I'm soooo surprised that you sold your Vapor 4 case, after all we / you've been though in acquiring the Vapor. I understand not having more cases on-hand that are needed. I'm making an exception with the Vapor :D.

I do really like their cases. I just can't stand the company. I will be watching them to see if they smarten up and maybe I will buy from them again. I do like the looks of the Nickel case. I've had my Innocase slider II on for 10 minutes now and........ I don't know, I might be sold. Really liking the feel of this case. Plus it has two holsters in the combo kit and I'm a holster fan vs pouch stye hip cases.

I really hope that's true. I gave up on them. I just don't have the patience anymore...

You've been waiting longer than I did. They should have sent you a free case as well and paid for your shipping just for all the BS they shot your way.

Which color Innocase did you go with? That's the one thing I wish I could change. I mean I like my green and all, but it didn't turn out to be quite the shade of green I was going for. Wouldn't mind the blue, gray, or white, now that I've got the green.

Unfortunately, you are not the only "junkie"...
I'm using Otter Defender ...for now.

I almost bought the defender because I read great reviews on it. My decision to go with the Innocase was all about being able to use it in Rugged mode or slider mode and it came with two holsters.

I think the combo kit only comes in Black. They didn't have an option to choose colour. That's cool with me. Black is a great colour. I have white Luck Labs Tecksure on the back of my IPhone and white spectra glossy on the sides.

its been a long ride...hopefully over soon...at least they are sending another one with the carbon back, all on their dime too...oh well, I just wanna buy something else...a nice new watch maybe...breitling bentley perhaps??

Ahhh...I didn't know that you ordered the bundled kit. When I ordered mine, you could get any of the Innocases with a clip holster for $49.95, and then order the additional Rugged add-on for $19.95, which included the Rugged outer case and a clip holster for it as well. So for the same price as the bundled $69.95 kit with the default black Innocase, you could order any color Innocase and holster + the add-on Rugged upgrade.

Yeah, it's on sale now. it's normally 29.95 + 49.95 so you save 10 bucks with the kit. I got mine for 62.00 And after looking at it I'm pretty happy with the price. It's a very well made item. With the rugged kit on it feels like my IPhone is in an Itank.

It's funny ... none of these copycat case manufacturers have responded to the request they submit their product for independent testing by GearDiary.com ...

Not surprising...it's an aluminum case going around the antenna. They look great, but I really don't see how any of the "Bumper" style designs can get around the negative signal impact placing aluminum around the antenna will cause. The only case I see that might is the Fusion Raw by FusionWerkz. It's cut out almost completely down the sides, exposing the antenna to open air. It's really the only one I'm interested in. And I just finally got in touch with them. They stated that they should start shipping in about two weeks.

Another aluminum case to throw into the mix is the ExoVault cases here: http://www.exovault.com/shop.html
The Fusion Raw seems to be a take-off on this idea, except that ExoVault has the option of cases that have wood in that open space down the sides of the antenna, which should still allow signal to penetrate it.

Funny, I thought I was the only one....... I have already had three Vapors and I am ordering a Fuzion RAW next.

Heck. I have my fourth vapor suppose to show up any time from group 5 orders.

I have noticed that each vapor case has carried a different signal. The last one had I got bad signals with the Lucky Labs on and the Carbon back plate. I took the lucky labs off and the carbon back off and used it as it was out of the box with no back plate and got a better signal the other were the opposite effect none being the same. the others I had a Lucky Labs on and they all varied in the same spots.

I quess it will go to ebay.

The Fusion Raw has some real nice features.
I like how there are no side bumps, it's the same all the way around. If I had to put down money at this point to say would will come out on top I have to say them based on the pics only.

The only thing I have against the Fusion Raw is that it states that it's a closed back design, meaning that there is aluminum that spans the back, covering the back glass (like the ExoVaults I linked to). This sounds good initially, but the more I think about it, I think it's a bad idea. The aluminum is probably very thin, to keep the case thin (and costs down). Thus, in a potential drop, the thin aluminum back could dent (inward, obviously). What would a hard metal do to a glass back when being dented in hard against it?? Shatter it. I'd rather the Fusion Raw have been a bumper design, instead of a full case with a back.

Well guys I am giving up on ElementCase after seeing the AlumaCase. I still like their case a lot, I appreciate their work after what the owner of AlumaCase said about engineering and making the case itself but they seem not to be ready about a thing like this. It seems to me like they don't want to fix the problems or hear out the costumers. The owner of AlumaCase registered here, on the forums and he is notifying us of every step. He even did a video and released a video on demand of the members. What does that tell you about their costumer service?!?

Based on the young sound of his voice in the video, and the improper grammar usage in his posts, I doubt he is the owner of any company.

Probably some guys kid who has nothing to do other than post on this forum.
I understand that selling a product is their main goal, but give us a break with the claims of months of testing. Anyone actually believe that this aluminum wrap around case will work any better than that one?

I was thinking the same thing too but...knowing myself, i will be using the future "metal" case 99% of the time and only use the Otter case when outdoored or traveling :)

Well I don't know for sure if the guy on the review is the owner or not but I believe them. Time will tell if what they say it's true and the costumers...

I know we would all love a metal case that is slim, lightweight ,attractive and will also provided good coverage against drops but I think we need to get real. A thin metal shell will not protect your phone from a fall other than reduce the risk of scratching the antenna. The metal designs we have seen have appealed to us based on aesthetics not damage protection. If protection was what we were looking for we would be posting on the Otterbox and Innocase threads.

Let's face it. This is a fashion show not a day in the mine. It's like watching my girlfriend trying to decide what shoes to wear. Pumps or flats, bla, bla, bla
We are all about the looks, What a bunch of shallow aholes we are , LOL But I heard she has a great personality. :D

I just need to find a case that matches my tux so I can look cooler this Hallowe'en when I dress up like James Bond. Does anyone know if any of these cases doubles as a Geiger Counter?
