God do I miss the good ol’ times of msn messenger, Napster and weekly tv shows episodes from the 90s. This whole tech era is destroying the very fabric of social life. Good thing I got a choice and have agency. Nature is on the menu tomorrow and the day after as well. Good night. Be nice to each other. Timeout!

Pretty sure almost nobody likes what Belenciaga did, my guy, but sure keep making it up as you go.

It’s very obvious that almost all of the posts and accounts that were deleted or banned were from right leaning accounts. Almost all, if not all, of the accounts that were banned by Pre-Elon Twitter and were restored by Elon were right leaning. The bias of the previous moderating staff at Twitter is very cLear and obvious. Can you name any pro-Democrat accounts that were banned by Twitter previously?

Why wasn’t Leslie Jones banned when she went off rail on ghostbuster movie (hate spreading was on both side)

Btw- ghost buster afterlife main lead is a young female child. I think that was a great movie. Far better than the reboot.

And here I thought one of the big rules of Apple Club is you can't talk about Apple Club.

Inciting an insurrection and potential murder of Congressmembers and the Vice President, yeah, that is no reason at all.
Please show me the tweets where he did that. Because I checked his page and the last tweets he posted before being banned didn't have anything that says that.

In fact in those tweets, he says to be peaceful twice. Almost like they wanted to get those hidden to help the false narrative you just posted.

this has got to be about app store dev fees (30% 8.99 blue check subscription or whatever).

Twitter would likely only pay 15 or negotiate even less. My guess is he wants 0%.
I assume you mean he'd only pay 15% because he'd qualify for the small business rate, pulling in under $1M revenue per year

I have absolutely no idea what even the issue is with Elon and Twitter. From what I see what so far happened is that the guy is trying to slim down the company and try new things to find a better balance in terms of moderation. Yeah, he's doing it in his own provocative way, and yeah, I don't like his communication style either for the most part. Honestly, nothing much has changed effectively. The site runs fine and it's still the same mix of poor quality content it always has been, as much as people now retroactively claim that it was ever different

Yet, when you listen to mainstream media and companies, it feels like they are trying to push the perception that Twitter is somehow at the brink of death. That strikes me as a classic reflexive tactic: if enough people buy that, it will happen (which is really how most people work; nobody actually checks for themselves, if their favorite people sound negative, they will uncritically adopt that attitude). In the end, what's really going on is pretty simple and obvious: it's social progressives that can't handle that once in a long while someone who doesn't appear to celebrate every single thing they come up with has control over something that they perceive as a key instrument for their social engineering efforts. This is purely political, there's no substantial danger in any of this, no matter how much people who don't like Elon for whatever reason wish for it.

This I agree with- it’s Apple choice

But banning- not so much

The thrust of the article was about Musk calling out on Apple as being anti-free speech because Apple had decided to reduce (eliminate?) it's advertisements on Twitter. It is at the end of the article in about one statement that the article mentions Elon is going to think about creating a phone if Apple moves to ban Twitter, the app. I read the article to be really about the former (i.e. free speech issue) not about the status of the Twitter app in the Apple app store.

It seems that as of right now, talks of a Twitter app potentially being banned in the Apple app store is just rumours? Not sure.

Try the Internet Archive. People delete tweets and make it seem like it never existed. The Internet never forgets, though.

Just to be clear, you think Elon Musk, whose parents benefited from apartheid in South Africa had no advantages? And further, you think his investments in companies such as Tesla are evidence of his genius and self-made status?

The more relevant conversation is what we should value in society. Liberals, such as yourself apparently, equate wealth with success and intelligence. I reject that, but I guess you love kowtowing to the rich.
Whether his parents had money or not, it has been proven that he is a self made billionaire. You just hate to see people successful. Here's a little timeline to help you out:

1995: He sold a game for 500$ that he wrote
1995: He borrowed $28K from his father to start Zip2
1999: Compaq bought Zip2 and he himself got 7%, or 22million
2000: He co-founded X.com with 10million from the sale of Zip 2, which turned to PayPal
2000: PayPal was sold to eBay and he received $165million himself
2002: He founded SpaceX with $100million that he has earned so far
2006: He invested $30million into Tesla

So tell me, when did he inherit the money from his parents?

Also, I'm FAR from a liberal my friend.

One, I have no idea what you're talking about so apparently you must follow or remember pop culture BS far more than I do. Two, this has nothing to do with what I said.

You are definitely a liberal. You just don't understand anything which isn't surprising.

Keep in mind, I said nothing of inheritance, you did. I ask again, are you saying he had no advantages and is purely self-made? If so, your liberal status is glowing.

The point is Twitter ban prior to Elon was very one sided.

You are the one claiming that Elon is spreading hate when he unbanned accounts.

When other side spread hate speech and not being banned is ok.

BTW I hated the reboot- because it was such a bad movie with no plot. All they did was created a female version of same sexual insult- except you have Thor instead of Anne pots being the sexual object

Thats the thing. Now that his Twitter account is active again and can see what was all said, their argument has no value.

Even Pence himself said Trump's tweets were reckless that day, but nice try at revisionism. Maybe the fact that Trump's own VP can see an issue here, but that you cannot should clue you in that maybe, just maybe, the one with a skewed perspective on this one is you.
